Luke 18:9 Now He also spoke this illustration (parable) to certain folks who had reached a settled, persuaded conclusion in which they continued confidently trusting upon themselves – that they are just and continue being fair, equitable and in right relationships which accord with the path pointed out, and they continue considering and treating the rest (= other folks) as amounting to nothing, while despising and disregarding them:
