Godbey⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁵³ And having taken it down, he wrapped it in linen, and placed it in a hewn sepulcher, where no one ever was laid. ⁵⁴ And it was Preparation day, and the Sabbath was drawing nigh. ⁵⁵ And the women, who had come along with him out of Galilee, having followed down, saw the sepulcher, and where His body was placed. ⁵⁶ And having returned, they prepared aromatics and myrrh: and they kept the Sabbath according to the commandment. ²⁴ ¹ And on the first of the Sabbath, at the depth of the dawn, they came to the sepulcher, bearing the aromatics which they had prepared, ² And they found the stone, having been rolled away from the sepulcher. ³ And coming in they found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
