I am the bread of life.
Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and died;
this is the bread coming down from heaven, that any one may eat of it, and not die.
I am the living bread, having come down from heaven; if any one may eat of me the bread, he will live forever: and the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.
Then the Jews were contending with one another, saying, How is this One able to give unto us His flesh to eat?
Then Jesus said unto them, Truly, truly, I say unto you, Unless you may eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.
The one eating my flesh and drinking my blood has eternal life; and I will raise him up in the last day.
For my flesh is the true food, and my blood is the true drink.
The one eating my flesh and drinking my blood abides in me, and I in him.
As the living Father sent me, and I live through the Father; truly the one eating me, shall also live through me.
He is the bread having come down from heaven: not as the fathers ate, and died: the one eating this bread shall live forever.
