THE CONSPIRACY OF ABI MELECH
And Abi Melech the son of Yerub Baal goes to Shechem to the brothers of his mother and words with them and with all the family of the house of the father of his mother, saying, 2 Word, I beseech you, in the ears of all the masters of Shechem, which is better for you: either that all the sons of Yerub Baal - seventy men reign over you? Or that one reign over you? Remember also that I am your bone and your flesh. 3 And brothers of his mother word all his words in the ears of all the masters of Shechem: and they spread their hearts to follow Abi Melech; for, they say, He is our brother.
