MESSAGE TO BARUCH
The word Yirme Yah the prophet worded to Baruch the son of Neri Yah when he inscribed these words in a scroll at the mouth of Yirme Yah, in the fourth year of Yah Yaqim the son of Yoshi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah, saying, 2 Thus says Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El concerning you, O Baruch: 3 You had said, Woe is me, I beseech! for Yah Veh adds grief to my sorrow; I belabor in my sighing and I find no rest. 4 Say thus to him: Yah Veh says thus: Behold, what I built, I break down; and what I planted, I uproot - even this whole land. 5 And seek you greatness for yourself? Seek not! For behold, I bring evil on all flesh - an oracle of Yah Veh: and I give your soul to you for a spoil in all the places you go.
