ECB⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁵ Thus the Yah Hudiym smite all their enemies with the stroke of the sword and slaughter and destruction; and work according to their pleasure to them who hate them: ⁶ and in Shushan palace the Yah Hudiym slaughter and destroy five hundred men: ⁷ and Parshandatha and Dalphon and Aspatha, ⁸ and Poratha and Adalya and Aridatha, ⁹ and Parmashta and Arisai and Ariday and Vayezatha ¹⁰ - the ten sons of Haman the son of Medatha, the tribulator of the Yah Hudiym, they slaughter; but they spread not their hand on the plunder. ¹¹ On that day, they bring the number of those slaughtered in Shushan palace at the face of the sovereign: ¹² and the sovereign says to Ester the sovereigness, The Yah Hudiym slaughtered and destroyed five hundred men in Shushan palace and the ten sons of Haman; What work they in the survivors of the jurisdictions of the sovereign? And what is your petition? - and so be it given you; And what is your request again? - and so be it worked. ¹³ And Ester says, If it is good with the sovereign, give work to the Yah Hudiym in Shushan tomorrow also according to the edict of this day; and hang the ten sons of Haman upon the tree. ¹⁴ And the sovereign says to work thus; and gives the edict at Shushan; and they hang the ten sons of Haman.
