ECB⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴ For thus says Yah Veh to the house of Yisra El: Seek me, and live: ⁵ neither seek Beth El nor enter Gilgal nor pass through Beer Sheba: for in exiling, Gilgal is exiled, and Beth El becomes for mischief. ⁶ Seek Yah Veh, and live; lest he prospers as fire in the house of Yoseph and consumes; and no one in Beth El to quench it. ⁷ You who turn judgment to wormwood, and leave off justness in the earth, ⁸ seek him who works Kimah and Kesil and turns the shadow of death into the morning and makes the day dark with night: who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them on the face of the earth: Yah Veh is his name:
