INTRODUCTION
The words of Amos, being among the branders of Teqoa, which he sees concerning Yisra El in the days of Uzzi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah; and in the days of Yarob Am the son of Yah Ash sovereign of Yisra El, two years ere the face of the quake. 2 And he says, Yah Veh roars from Siyon and gives his voice from Yeru Shalem; and the folds of the tenders mourn and the top of Karmel/orchard withers. 3 Thus says Yah Veh: For three rebellions of Dammeseq, and for four, I restore them not; because of threshing Gilad with sickles of iron: 4 and I send a fire to the house of Haza El to consume the citadels of Ben Hadad: 5 and I break the bar of Dammeseq and cut off the settler from the valley of Aven; and he who upholds the sceptre from the house of Eden: and exile the people of Aram to Qir, says Yah Veh. 6 Thus says Yah Veh: For three rebellions of Azzah, and for four, I restore them not; because of exiling the complete exiles to shut them up to Edom: 7 and I send a fire on the wall of Azzah to consume the citadels: 8 and I cut off the settler from Ashdod and he who upholds the scion from Ashkelon; and I turn my hand against Eqron: and destroy the survivors of the Peleshethiym, says Adonay Yah Veh. 9 Thus says Yah Veh: For three rebellions of Sor, and for four, I restore not; because of delivering the complete exiles to Edom and remember not the covenant of brothers: 10 and I send a fire on the wall of Sor, to consume the citadels. 11 Thus says Yah Veh: For three rebellions of Edom, and for four, I restore them not; because of pursuing his brother with the sword and ruining his mercies and tearing his wrath eternally; and guarding his wrath in perpetuity: 12 and I send a fire on Teman, to consume the citadels of Bozrah. 13 Thus says Yah Veh: For three rebellions of the sons of Ammon, and for four, I restore them not; because of splitting the women with child of Gilad, to enlarge their border: 14 and I kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah to consume the citadels with shouts in the day of war; with a storm in the day of the hurricane: 15 and their sovereign goes into exile - he and his governors together, says Yah Veh.
