Luke 24:44-49 And He said unto to them, “These are my words, which I spoke to you being still with you, that all things having been written concerning Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms, it behooves to be fulfilled.”

BLB⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴⁴ And He said unto to them, “These are my words, which I spoke to you being still with you, that all things having been written concerning Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms, it behooves to be fulfilled.” ⁴⁵ Then He opened their mind to understand the Scriptures. ⁴⁶ And He said to them, “Thus it has been written: The Christ was to suffer and to rise out from the dead on the third day, ⁴⁷ and repentance and forgiveness of sins to be proclaimed in His name to all nations, having begun from Jerusalem. ⁴⁸ You are witnesses of these things. ⁴⁹ And behold, I am sending the promise of My Father upon you. But you, remain in the city until that you should be clothed with power from on high.”
