Luke 24:44-49 And he said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you when I was with you, that everything must be fulfilled which is written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Lamsa⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴⁴ And he said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you when I was with you, that everything must be fulfilled which is written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. ⁴⁵ Then he opened their mind to understand the scriptures. ⁴⁶ And he said to them, Thus it is written, and it was right that Christ should suffer, and rise from the dead on the third day; ⁴⁷ And that repentance should be preached in his name for the forgiveness of sins among all nations; and the beginning will be from Jerusalem. ⁴⁸ And you are witnesses of these things. ⁴⁹ And I will send upon you the promise of my Father; but you remain in the city of Jerusalem, until you are clothed with power from on high.
