Luke 24:44-49 He said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled which are written about me in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms.

RKJNT⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴⁴ He said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled which are written about me in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms. ⁴⁵ Then he opened their minds, that they might understand the scriptures, ⁴⁶ And said to them, Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer, and rise from the dead on the third day: ⁴⁷ And that repentance for forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. ⁴⁸ You are witnesses of these things. ⁴⁹ And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but stay in the city, until you are clothed with power from on high.
