5 καὶ (And) ἐδόθη (it was granted) αὐτοῖς (to them) ἵνα (that) μὴ (not) ἀποκτείνωσιν (they should kill) αὐτούς (them), ἀλλ’ (but) ἵνα (that) βασανισθήσονται (they shall torment them) μῆνας (months) πέντε (five). καὶ (And) ὁ (the) βασανισμὸς (torment) αὐτῶν (of them) ὡς (was like) βασανισμὸς (torment) σκορπίου (of a scorpion), ὅταν (when) παίσῃ (it might strike) ἄνθρωπον (a man).
