32 Ὀψίας (Evening) δὲ (now) γενομένης (having come), ὅτε (when) ἔδυ* (went down) ὁ (the) ἥλιος (sun), ἔφερον (they began bringing) πρὸς (to) αὐτὸν (Him) πάντας (all) τοὺς (those) κακῶς (sick) ἔχοντας (being), καὶ (and) τοὺς (those) δαιμονιζομένους (being possessed by demons).
33 καὶ (And) ἦν (was) ὅλη (all) ἡ (the) πόλις (city) ἐπισυνηγμένη (gathered together) πρὸς (at) τὴν (the) θύραν (door).
34 καὶ (And) ἐθεράπευσεν (He healed) πολλοὺς (many) κακῶς (sick) ἔχοντας (being) ποικίλαις (of various) νόσοις (diseases), καὶ (and) δαιμόνια (demons) πολλὰ (many) ἐξέβαλεν (He cast out). καὶ (And) οὐκ (not) ἤφιεν (He would allow) λαλεῖν (to speak) τὰ (the) δαιμόνια (demons), ὅτι (because) ᾔδεισαν (they knew) αὐτόν (Him).
35 Καὶ (And) πρωῒ (very early), ἔννυχα (in night) λίαν (still much), ἀναστὰς (having risen up), ἐξῆλθεν (He went out) καὶ (and) ἀπῆλθεν (departed) εἰς (into) ἔρημον (solitary) τόπον (a place), κἀκεῖ (and there) προσηύχετο (He was praying).
36 καὶ (And) κατεδίωξεν (went after) αὐτὸν (Him) Σίμων (Simon) καὶ (and) οἱ (those) μετ’ (with) αὐτοῦ (him),
37 καὶ (and) εὗρον (having found) αὐτὸν (Him), καὶ (also) λέγουσιν (they say) αὐτῷ (to Him) ὅτι (-), “Πάντες (Everyone) ζητοῦσίν (seeks) σε (You)!”
38 Καὶ (And) λέγει (He says) αὐτοῖς (to them), “Ἄγωμεν (Let us go) ἀλλαχοῦ (another way) εἰς (into) τὰς (the) ἐχομένας (neighboring) κωμοπόλεις (towns), ἵνα (so that) καὶ (also) ἐκεῖ (there) κηρύξω (I might preach); εἰς (for) τοῦτο (this) γὰρ (therefore) ἐξῆλθον (have I come forth).”
39 καὶ (And) ἦλθεν (He was going), κηρύσσων (preaching) εἰς (in) τὰς (the) συναγωγὰς (synagogues) αὐτῶν (of them), εἰς (in) ὅλην (all) τὴν (-) Γαλιλαίαν (Galilee), καὶ (and) τὰ (-) δαιμόνια (demons) ἐκβάλλων (casting out).
