2 Peter 2:20-21 Εἰ (If) γὰρ (for) ἀποφυγόντες (having escaped) τὰ (the) μιάσματα (pollutions) τοῦ (of the) κόσμου (world) ἐν (through) ἐπιγνώσει (the knowledge) τοῦ (of the) Κυρίου (Lord) καὶ (and) Σωτῆρος (Savior) Ἰησοῦ (Jesus) Χριστοῦ (Christ), τούτοις (in these) δὲ (now) πάλιν (again) ἐμπλακέντες (having been entangled) ἡττῶνται (they are subdued), γέγονεν (has become) αὐτοῖς (to them) τὰ (the) ἔσχατα (last state) χείρονα (worse) τῶν (than the) πρώτων (first).
