He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to sent forth in deliverance those who have been broken, ¹⁹ to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. ²⁰ And having closed the book, having given it back to the attendant, he sat down. And the eyes of all in the synagogue were focused on him. ²¹ And he began to say to them, Today this scripture has been fulfilled in your ears.
