ABU(i)
And straightway he constrained his disciples to enter into the ship, and to go before him to the other side, while he dismissed the multitudes.
And having dismissed the multitudes, he went up into the mountain apart to pray; and when evening was come, he was there alone.
But the ship was already in the midst of the sea, vexed by the waves; for the wind was contrary.
And in the fourth watch of the night he went to them, walking on the sea.
And the disciples, seeing him walking on the sea, were troubled, saying: It is a spectre. And they cried out for fear.
But straightway Jesus spoke to them, saying: Be of good cheer; it is I, be not afraid.
And Peter answering him said: Lord, if it is thou, bid me come to thee on the water.
And he said: Come. And coming down from the ship, Peter walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
But seeing the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying: Lord, save me.
And immediately Jesus, stretching forth his hand, took hold of him, and said to him: Thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
And when they had entered into the ship, the wind ceased.
And those in the ship came and worshiped him, saying: Of a truth, thou art the Son of God.
