And unrolling the book, he found the place where it was written: ¹⁸ The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; Because he anointed me to publish good tidings to the poor; He has sent me to proclaim deliverance to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To send the oppressed away free, ¹⁹ To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. ²⁰ And rolling up the book he gave it again to the servant, and sat down. And the eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on him.
