2 Maccabees 2:26

LXX_WH⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁶ καὶ ἡμῖν μὲν τοῖς τὴν κακοπάθειαν ἐπιδεδεγμένοις τῆς ἐπιτομῆς οὐ ῥᾴδιον ἱδρῶτος δὲ καὶ ἀγρυπνίας τὸ πρᾶγμα

Clementine_Vulgate⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁶ curavimus volentibus quidem legere, ut esset animi oblectatio: studiosis vero, ut facilius possint memoriæ commendare: omnibus autem legentibus utilitas conferatur.

Wycliffe⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁶ and sotheli we hadden bisinesse, that it were likyng of soule to men willynge for to rede; ²⁶ forsothe to studiouse men, that thei miyten liytliere bitake to mynde; forsothe that to alle men redynge profit be youun.

Geneva⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁶ Therefore to vs that haue taken in hand this great labour, it was no easie thing to make this abbridgement, but required both sweat, & watching.
