RKJNT⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁵ Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom you believed, as the Lord assigned to each his task? ⁶ I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the growth. ⁷ So then, neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything; but only God who gives the growth. ⁸ Now he who plants and he who waters are equal: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. ⁹ For we are labourers together with God: you are God's field, God's building. ¹⁰ According to the grace of God which is given to me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds upon it. But let every man take heed how he builds upon it. ¹¹ For no other foundation can man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. ¹² Now if any man builds upon this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw; ¹³ Each man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall test the quality of every man's work. ¹⁴ If any man's work remains, which he has built upon it, he shall receive a reward. ¹⁵ If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; but only as through fire.
