4 H1605 גוער He rebuketh H3220 בים the sea, H3001 ויבשׁהו and maketh it dry, H3605 וכל all H5104 הנהרות the rivers: H2717 החריב and drieth up H536 אמלל H1316 בשׁן Bashan H3760 וכרמל and Carmel, H6525 ופרח and the flower H3844 לבנון of Lebanon H536 אמלל׃

5 H2022 הרים The mountains H7493 רעשׁו quake H4480 ממנו at H1389 והגבעות him, and the hills H4127 התמגגו melt, H5375 ותשׂא is burned H776 הארץ and the earth H6440 מפניו at his presence, H8398 ותבל yea, the world, H3605 וכל and all H3427 ישׁבי׃ that dwell

6 H6440 לפני before H2195 זעמו his indignation? H4310 מי Who H5975 יעמוד can stand H4310 ומי and who H6965 יקום can abide H2740 בחרון in the fierceness H639 אפו of his anger? H2534 חמתו his fury H5413 נתכה is poured out H784 כאשׁ like fire, H6697 והצרים and the rocks H5422 נתצו are thrown down H4480 ממנו׃ by

7 H2896 טוב good, H3068 יהוה The LORD H4581 למעוז a stronghold H3117 ביום in the day H6869 צרה of trouble; H3045 וידע and he knoweth H2620 חסי׃ them that trust

8 H7858 ובשׁטף flood H5674 עבר But with an overrunning H3617 כלה an utter end H6213 יעשׂה he will make H4725 מקומה of the place H341 ואיביו his enemies. H7291 ירדף shall pursue H2822 חשׁך׃ thereof, and darkness

10 H3588 כי For H5704 עד while H5518 סירים thorns, H5440 סבכים folded together H5435 וכסבאם and while they are drunken H5433 סבואים drunkards, H398 אכלו they shall be devoured H7179 כקשׁ as stubble H3002 יבשׁ dry. H4390 מלא׃ fully

11 H4480 ממך of H3318 יצא There is come out H2803 חשׁב thee, that imagineth H5921 על against H3068 יהוה the LORD, H7451 רעה evil H3289 יעץ counselor. H1100 בליעל׃ a wicked

12 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H518 אם Though H8003 שׁלמים quiet, H3651 וכן and likewise H7227 רבים many, H3651 וכן yet thus H1494 נגזו shall they be cut down, H5674 ועבר when he shall pass through. H6031 וענתך Though I have afflicted H3808 לא thee no H6031 אענך thee, I will afflict H5750 עוד׃ more.

13 H6258 ועתה For now H7665 אשׁבר will I break H4132 מטהו his yoke H5921 מעליך from off H4147 ומוסרתיך thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder. H5423 אנתק׃ thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder.
