Psalms 66

CLV(i) 1 {A Song, A Davidic Psalm{ Raise a joyful shout for Elohim, all the earth!" 2 Make melody for the glory of His Name! Make glorious His praise! 3 Say to Elohim, How fear inspiring are Your doings! Because of the vastness of Your strength Your enemies shall cower before You." 4 All the earth shall bow down to You and shall make melody to You. They shall make melody to Your Name. {Interlude{ 5 Come and see the deeds of Elohim; Fear inspiring is His activity on behalf of the sons of humanity. 6 He turns the sea to dry land. In the stream they are passing on foot. There let us rejoice in Him. 7 Ruling by His mastery for the eon, His eyes shall watch among the nations. Let not the stubborn exalt themselves. {Interlude{ " 8 Bless our Elohim, O peoples, And make the sound of His praise heard!" 9 The One placing our souls among the living, And Who does not allow our feet to slip." 10 For You test us, O Elohim; You refine us like refined silver." 11 You bring us into a fastness; You place pressure on our waists. 12 You cause a mortal to ride over our head. We come through fire and through water, Yet You are bringing us forth into satiation." 13 I shall come to Your House with ascent offerings. I shall pay my vows to You, 14 Concerning which my lips opened wide, And my mouth spoke in my distress." 15 Ascent offerings of the full-fed shall I bring up to You With the fumes of rams. I shall offer the ox with he-goats. {Interlude{ 16 Come, hear, all who fear Elohim, And let me recount what He does for my soul." 17 To Him I call with my mouth, And He is exalted with my tongue." 18 If I had regarded lawlessness in my heart, Yahweh would not hear." 19 But Elohim surely hears And attends to the sound of my prayer. 20 Blessed be Elohim, Who neither takes away my prayer Nor withholds His benignity from me. {Permanent, With Accompaniments{ "
