Numbers 24:1-26 And when Balaam saw that it pleased Jehovah to bless Israel, he went not, as at the other times, to meet with enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.

1 H1109 And when Balaam H7200 saw H5869 that it pleased H3068 Jehovah H1288 to bless H3478 Israel, H1980 he went H6471 not, as at the other times, H7125 to meet H5173 with enchantments, H7896 but he set H6440 his face H4057 toward the wilderness.

2 H1109 And Balaam H5375 lifted up H5869 his eyes, H7200 and he saw H3478 Israel H7931 dwelling H7626 according to their tribes; H7307 and the Spirit H430 of God came upon him.

3 H5375 And he took up H4912 his parable, H559 and said, H1109 Balaam H1121 the son H1160 of Beor H5002 saith, H1397 And the man H5869 whose eye H8365 was closed H5002 saith;

4 H5002 He saith, H8085 who heareth H561 the words H410 of God, H2372 Who seeth H4236 the vision H7706 of the Almighty, H5307 Falling H5869 down, and having his eyes H1540 open:

5 H2895 How goodly H168 are thy tents, H3290 O Jacob, H4908 Thy tabernacles, H3478 O Israel!

6 H5158 As valleys H5186 are they spread forth, H1593 As gardens H5104 by the river-side, H174 As lign-aloes H3068 which Jehovah H5193 hath planted, H730 As cedar-trees H4325 beside the waters.

7 H4325 Water H5140 shall flow H5140 from H1805 his buckets, H2233 And his seed H7227 shall be in many H4325 waters, H4428 And his king H7311 shall be higher H90 than Agag, H4438 And his kingdom H5375 shall be exalted.

8 H410 God H3318 bringeth him forth H4714 out of Egypt; H8443 He hath as it were the strength H7214 of the wild-ox: H398 He shall eat up H1471 the nations H6862 his adversaries, H1633 And shall break H6106 their bones H4272 in pieces, And smite H2671 them through with his arrows.

9 H3766 He couched, H7901 he lay down H738 as a lion, H3833 And as a lioness; H6965 who shall rouse him up? H1288 Blessed H1288 be every one that blesseth H779 thee, And cursed H779 be every one that curseth thee.

10 H1111 And Balak's H639 anger H2734 was kindled H1109 against Balaam, H5606 and he smote H3709 his hands H5606 together; H1111 and Balak H559 said H1109 unto Balaam, H7121 I called H6895 thee to curse H341 mine enemies, H1288 and, behold, thou hast altogether H1288 blessed H7969 them these three H6471 times.

11 H1272 Therefore now flee H4725 thou to thy place: H559 I thought H3513 to promote H3513 thee unto great H3513 honor; H3068 but, lo, Jehovah H4513 hath kept thee back H3519 from honor.

12 H1109 And Balaam H559 said H1111 unto Balak, H1696 Spake H4397 I not also to thy messengers H7971 that thou sentest H559 unto me, saying,

13 H1111 If Balak H5414 would give H1004 me his house H4393 full H3701 of silver H2091 and gold, H3201 I cannot H5674 go beyond H6310 the word H3068 of Jehovah, H6213 to do H2896 either good H7451 or bad H3820 of mine own mind; H3068 what Jehovah H1696 speaketh, H1696 that will I speak?

14 H1980 And now, behold, I go H5971 unto my people: H3212 come, H3289 and I will advertise H5971 thee what this people H6213 shall do H5971 to thy people H319 in the latter H3117 days.

15 H5375 And he took up H4912 his parable, H559 and said, H1109 Balaam H1121 the son H1160 of Beor H5002 saith, H1397 And the man H5869 whose eye H8365 was closed H5002 saith;

16 H5002 He saith, H8085 who heareth H561 the words H410 of God, H3045 And knoweth H1847 the knowledge H5945 of the Most High, H2372 Who seeth H4236 the vision H7706 of the Almighty, H5307 Falling H5869 down, and having his eyes H1540 open:

17 H7200 I see H7200 him, but not now; I behold H7138 him, but not nigh: H1869 There shall come H3556 forth a star H3290 out of Jacob, H7626 And a sceptre H6965 shall rise H3478 out of Israel, H4272 And shall smite H6285 through the corners H4124 of Moab, H6979 And break down H1121 all the sons H8352 of tumult.

18 H123 And Edom H3424 shall be a possession, H8165 Seir H3424 also shall be a possession, H341 who were his enemies; H3478 While Israel H6213 doeth H2428 valiantly.

19 H3290 And out of Jacob H7287 shall one have dominion, H6 And shall destroy H8300 the remnant H5892 from the city.

20 H7200 And he looked H6002 on Amalek, H5375 and took up H4912 his parable, H559 and said, H6002 Amalek H7225 was the first H1471 of the nations; H319 But his latter H5703 end shall come H8 to destruction.

21 H7200 And he looked H7017 on the Kenite, H5375 and took up H4912 his parable, H559 and said, H386 Strong H4186 is thy dwelling-place, H7064 And thy nest H7760 is set H5553 in the rock.

22 H7014 Nevertheless Kain H518 shall H1197 be wasted, H804 Until Asshur H7617 shall carry thee away captive.

23 H5375 And he took up H4912 his parable, H559 and said, H188 Alas, H2421 who shall live H410 when God H7760 doeth this?

24 H6716 But ships H3027 shall come from the coast H3794 of Kittim, H6031 And they shall afflict H804 Asshur, H6031 and shall afflict H5677 Eber; H5703 And he also shall come H8 to destruction.

25 H1109 And Balaam H6965 rose up, H3212 and went H7725 and returned H4725 to his place; H1111 and Balak H1980 also went H1870 his way.
