⁵ And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the ground, the men said unto them, Why do ye seek the living among the dead?

³ (and his countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: ⁴ and the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men:) ⁵ and the angel said to the women, Be not ye afraid: for I know that ye seek Jesus who was crucified.

⁵ And they went into the sepulchre and saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white robe; and they were affrighted: ⁶ but he said to them, Be not affrighted, ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified, He is risen, He is not here, see the place where they laid Him.
