⁴ And while they were in perplexity about it, behold, two men stood by them in shining robes.

² and behold, there had been a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descending from heaven, had come and rolled away the stone from the door, and was sitting upon it: ³ (and his countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: ⁴ and the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men:) ⁵ and the angel said to the women, Be not ye afraid: for I know that ye seek Jesus who was crucified. ⁶ He is not here, for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay:

⁵ And they went into the sepulchre and saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white robe; and they were affrighted:
