²¹ And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.

¹⁸ to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of satan unto God; that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and an inheritance among them that are sanctified by faith in me. ¹⁹ Wherefore, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision: ²⁰ but declared first to those in Damascus and Jerusalem, and through all the country of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, and turn unto God, performing works suitable to repentance.

⁶ I have planted, Apollos watered: but God gave the increase. ⁷ So that neither he that planteth is any thing, nor he that watereth, but God that giveth the increase.

⁵ For our gospel came not to you in word only, but also in power, and in the holy Ghost, and in much certainty; as ye know what sort of persons we were among you for your sakes.

⁹ For they themselves declare concerning us what kind of entrance we had among you, and how ye turned to God from idols, to serve the living and true God; ¹⁰ and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivereth us from the wrath to come.
