¹⁴ Then Jesus in the power of the Spirit returned to Galilee, and news of Him spread all over the surrounding country.

¹² Now when Jesus heard that John had been arrested, He set out for Galilee.

²³ Then He went all over Galilee, as He continued teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and curing any disease or malady among the people. ²⁴ So the news about Him spread all over Syria, and people brought to Him all who were sick with various diseases, especially those who were suffering with torturing diseases; and he cured them. ²⁵ So great crowds followed Him, from Galilee and Decapolis, from Jerusalem and Judea, and from the other side of Jordan.
