³ For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

¹ At the same hour came the disciples to Jesus, saying, Who then is the greatest in the kingdom of the heavens? ² And Jesus called one little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, ³ And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the Kingdom of the heavens. ⁴ Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the Kingdom of the heavens.

¹¹ The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed thus, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men [are], extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

³⁴ For he whom God hath sent, speaketh the words of God: for God giveth [him] not the Spirit by measure.

⁵ By whom we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for his name:

²⁰ Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not high minded, but fear.

²⁵ For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery (lest ye should be wise in your own conceits) that blindness in part is hapned to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

⁶ Having then gifts, differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, according to the analogy of the faith. ⁷ Or ministry, on ministring; or he that teacheth, on teaching; ⁸ He that exhorteth on exhortation: he that giveth, with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

¹⁶ [Be] of the same mind one towards another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits,

¹⁵ Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you, in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God, ¹⁶ That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministring the Gospel of God; that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

¹⁰ According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise master-builder, I laid the foundation; another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereon.

⁷ For who maketh thee to differ? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive [it], why dost thou glory as if thou hadst not received [it] ⁸ Now ye are full, now ye are rich, ye have reigned as kings without us: and I would that ye did reign, that we also might reign with you.

¹⁷ As the Lord hath distributed to every man, as God hath called every one, so let him walk: and so teach I in all churches.

⁷ But the manifestation of the Spirit, is given to every man to profit withal. ⁸ For to one is given by the Spirit, the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; ⁹ To another faith by the same Spirit: to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; ¹⁰ To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another the interpretation of tongues; to another kinds of tongues; ¹¹ But all these worketh that one and the self same Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

¹⁰ But by the grace of God, I am what I am: and his grace upon me has not been poor, but I laboured more abundantly than all: yet not I, but the grace of God with me.

⁷ And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me.

¹³ For what is it wherein ye were inferior to other churches, except that I my self was not burdensom to you? forgive me this wrong.

⁸ For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me towards the Gentiles. ⁹ And when Peter, James, and John, who seemed to be pillars, prceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we [should go] unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

³ For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

² If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God, which is given me to you-ward:

⁴ Whereby when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ.

⁷ Whereof I have been made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me, by the effectual working of his power. ⁸ Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ.

⁷ But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. ⁸ Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led a captivity captive, [and] gave gifts unto men. ⁹ Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended into the lower parts of the earth? ¹⁰ He that descended, is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things. ¹¹ And he hath given some, apostles: and some, prophets: and some, evangelists: and some, pastors and teachers; ¹² For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: ¹³ Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ;

¹⁶ From whom the whole body fitly joined together, and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body, unto the edifying of it self in love.

³ [Do] nothing through strife, or vain-glory, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves. ⁴ Looking, not every man on his own things, but evey man on the things of others. ⁵ Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: ⁶ Who being in the form of [a] God, did not take upon him to be equal to a God: ⁷ But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: ⁸ And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

²⁹ Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

¹³ And you being dead in your sins, by the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickned, having forgiven us all our trespasses,

¹⁴ But the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith, and love which is in Christ Jesus.

⁹ In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety: not with broidered hair, and gold, or pearle, or costly array;

¹⁵ Notwithstanding she shall be saved in child-bearing, if they continue in faith and charity, and holiness with sobriety.

² That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience:

⁴ That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

⁶ Young men likewise exhort to be sober-minded.

¹² Teaching us, that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world;

⁶ But he giveth more grace: wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

¹³ Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end, for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

⁷ But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

¹¹ If any man speak, as the oracles of God; if any man minister, as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

⁵ Likewise ye younger, submit your selves unto the elder: yea, and all one with another, be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

⁸ Be sober, be vigilant; Your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour.

⁹ I wrote somewhat unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the pre-eminence among them, receiveth us not.
