¹ I say then, Hath God cast away his people whom he foreknew? By no means. For I also am an Israelite, of the feed of Abraham, [of] the tribe of Benjamin. ² God hath not cast away his people whom he foreknew. Know ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, ³ Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. ⁴ But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to my self seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to Baal. ⁵ Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. ⁶ And if by grace, then [is it] no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. ⁷ What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded: ⁸ According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, unto this day. ⁹ And David saith, Let their table be made a share, and a trap, and a stumbling-block, and a recompence unto them. ¹⁰ Let their eyes be darkned, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway. ¹¹ I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? By no means; but thro' their fall, salvation [is] unto the Gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy. ¹² Now if the fall of them [be] the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles: how much more their fulness? ¹³ For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am an apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: ¹⁴ If by any means I may provoke to emulation my flesh, and might save some of them. ¹⁵ For if the casting away of them [be] the reconciling of the world; what [shall] the receiving [be], but life from the dead? ¹⁶ For if the first-fruit [be] holy, the lump [is so] also: and if the root [be] holy, so [are] the branches. ¹⁷ And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in amongst them, and with them partakest of the fatness of the olive-tree; ¹⁸ Boast not against the branches: but if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. ¹⁹ Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. ²⁰ Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not high minded, but fear. ²¹ For if God spared not the natural branches, lest he also spare not thee. ²² Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but towards thee, goodness, if thou continue in [his] goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off, ²³ And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. ²⁴ For if thou wert cut out of the olive-tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive-tree; how much more shall these which be the natural, be graffed into their own olive-tree? ²⁵ For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery (lest ye should be wise in your own conceits) that blindness in part is hapned to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. ²⁶ And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob. ²⁷ For this [is] my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. ²⁸ As concerning the gospel, [they are] enemies for your sake: but as touching the election, beloved for the fathers sakes. ²⁹ For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. ³⁰ For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy thro' their unbelief: ³¹ Even so have these also now not believed, that thro' the mercy bestowed on you they also may now obtain mercy. ³² For God hath concluded all things in unbelief, that he may have mercy upon all. ³³ O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable his judgments, and his ways past finding out! ³⁴ For who hath known the mind of the Lord, or who hath been his counseller? ³⁵ Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? ³⁶ For of him, and through him, and to him, [are] all things: to whom [be] glory for ever Amen.

³ I am a man who am a Jew, born in Tarsus, of Cilicia, but brought up in this city, at the feet of Gamaliel, taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, being zealous towards God, as ye all are this day.

⁴ My manner of life from my youth, which was at the first among mine own nation at Jerusalem, know all the Jews.

⁴ God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

³ For I could wish that myself were an anathema from Christ, for my brethren and kinsmen who are according to the flesh:

²² Are they Hebrews? so [am] I: are they Israelites? so [am] I: are they the seed of Abraham? so [am] I:

⁵ Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;

¹ And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost, returned from Jordan, and was led by the spirit into the wilderness,

¹ When therefore the Lord Jesus knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John, ² Though Jesus himself baptized not, but the disciples. ³ He left the land of Judea, and departed again into Galilee.

¹¹ The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast no bucket and the well is deep: Whence hast thou that living water?

¹⁷ And now men and Brethren, know ye, that you indeed through ignorance did a wicked thing, as also your rulers.

⁴⁰ Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for this Moses, who brought us out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him.

⁴⁸ And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and received the word of God: and as many as were ordained to eternal life, believed.

¹⁸ Known unto the Lord is his work from the beginning of the world.

²⁹ For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the first-born among many brethren. ³⁰ Moreover, whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

⁶ Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For all that are of Israel, are not Israelites.

²³ And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory?

² Or do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

²² But whether I live in the flesh, this [is] worth my while; yet what I shall choose, I wot not.

¹ GOD, who at sundry times, and in divers manners, spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, ² Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit unto obedience, and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you and peace be multiplied.

¹¹ For [the children] being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth.

²⁷ Esaias also, crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved.

⁶ And if by grace, then [is it] no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. ⁷ What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded:

²⁸ As concerning the gospel, [they are] enemies for your sake: but as touching the election, beloved for the fathers sakes.

⁵ Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, ⁶ To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in his beloved Son.

²⁷ Where [is] boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? No: but of the law of faith. ²⁸ For we conclude, that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

⁴ Now to him that worketh, is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. ⁵ But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

²⁰ Moreover, the law entered, that the offence might abound: But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: ²¹ That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life, by Jesus Christ our Lord.

¹⁰ But by the grace of God, I am what I am: and his grace upon me has not been poor, but I laboured more abundantly than all: yet not I, but the grace of God with me.

²¹ I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness [be] by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

⁴ Christ is become of no effect unto you; whosoever of you are justified by the law, ye are fallen from grace.

⁴ But God, who is rich in mercy, for the great love wherewith he loved us, ⁵ Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickned us together with Christ, by whose grace ye are saved. ⁶ And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus. ⁷ That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace, in kindness towards us, through Christ. ⁸ For by his grace are we saved, through faith and that not of our selves; [it is] the gift of God: ⁹ Not of works, lest any man should boast;

⁹ Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace which was given us in Christ Jesus, before the world began,

⁵ Not by works of righteousness, which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us by the washing of regeneration, and renewing by the Holy Ghost;

¹⁴ And then shall be fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, Go and tell this People, by hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand: and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive. ¹⁵ For this peoples heart is waxed gross and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with [their] eyes, and hear with [their] ears, and should mind it with [their] heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

²⁴ Strive to enter in at the strait door: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not find it.

⁴⁰ He hath blinded [them], that they should not see with [their] eyes, nor understand with [their] heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

⁹ What then have we before [them] that is extraordinary? Nothing at all: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;

¹⁵ What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

²⁸ And we know that all things work together for good, to them that love God, to them who are called according to [his] purpose.

¹⁸ Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will, and whom he will, he hardneth.

³¹ But Israel, which followed after the law, hath not attained to the law of righteousness. ³² Wherefore? Because it was not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law: They stumbled at that stumbling stone;

³ For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

⁵ Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

²⁵ For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery (lest ye should be wise in your own conceits) that blindness in part is hapned to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

¹⁹ What say I then? that what is offered in sacrifice to the idol is any thing, or that the idol is any thing?

¹⁴ But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away, in the reading of the old testament; which is done away in Christ.

⁴ In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them who believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine.

⁴ According as he hath chosen us in him, before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy, and without blame before him in love:

¹⁸ What then? notwithstanding every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

¹⁰ And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness, in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth of Christ, that they might be saved. ¹¹ For this cause God sends them strong delusion, that they shall believe a lie: ¹² That they all might be judged who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. ¹³ But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren, beloved of God; because God hath from the beginning chosen us to salvation, through sanctification of the Spirit, and belief of the truth: ¹⁴ Whereunto he called you by our gospel to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁷ For ye know how that afterward when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

¹³ Therefore spake he to them in parables: that seeing, they might not see: and hearing, they might not hear, neither mind it, lest they shall be converted. ¹⁴ And then shall be fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, Go and tell this People, by hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand: and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive.

¹¹ And he says unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all things are said in parables: ¹² That seeing they may see, and not perceive, and hearing they may hear, and not mind; lest at any time they should be converted, and I should forgive their sins.

¹⁰ And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables be, that seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.

²⁶ saying, Go unto this people, and say unto them, Hearing, ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive.

¹⁴ But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away, in the reading of the old testament; which is done away in Christ. ¹⁵ But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart,

²⁰ But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: [then] whose shall those things be which thou hast provided;

¹⁹ But he spake also another parable: There was a rich man, who was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day. ²⁰ But a certain beggar named Lazarus, was laid at his gate full of ulcers. ²¹ And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich mans table: moreover, the dogs came and licked his ulcers. ²² And it came to pass that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abrahams bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried. ²³ And in hades he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus resting in his bosom. ²⁴ And he cried earnestly and said, Father Abraham have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. ²⁵ But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is here comforted, and thou art pained.

¹⁷ Charge them that are the rich of this present age, that they be not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy: ¹⁸ That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; ¹⁹ To lay up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on that life which is real.

² For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;

²¹ Because that when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkned.

⁸ According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, unto this day.

¹⁸ Having the understanding darkened, being alienated fro the life of God, through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

⁴ For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast [them] down to Tartarus, and delivered [them] into chains [and] darknesses to be reserved to be punished;

¹⁷ These are wells without water, and mists that are carried with a tempest, to whom the blackness of darkness is reserved for ever.

⁶ But the angels who kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved everlasting chains under darkness, unto the judgment of the great day.

¹³ Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

⁴² And when they were gone out of the synagogue, they besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

⁴⁶ But Paul and Barnabas waxed bold,and said unto them, The word of God was to be first spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge your selves unworthy of eternal life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles. ⁴⁷ For so hath the Lord commanded us, Behold I have set thee to be a light to the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth. ⁴⁸ And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and received the word of God: and as many as were ordained to eternal life, believed.

⁶ But when there had been much discourse, and the scriptures had been interpreted, and when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, Paul shook [his] raiment, and said unto them. Your blood [be] upon your head; I [am] clean; I go to the Gentiles.

¹⁸ And saw him saying unto me, Make haste and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for they will not receive thy testimony concerning me. ¹⁹ And I said, Lord, they know that I imprisoned, and beat in the synagogues them that believed on thee. ²⁰ And when the blood of thy martyr Stephen was shed, I was standing by, and consenting, and kept the raiment of them that slew him. ²¹ And he said unto me, Depart: for I send thee far unto the Gentiles.

²⁴ And some believed the things which were spoken, but some believed not. ²⁵ And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word. Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the Prophet, unto our fathers, ²⁶ saying, Go unto this people, and say unto them, Hearing, ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive. ²⁷ For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with [their] eyes, and hear with [their] ears, and understand with [their] heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. ²⁸ Be it known therefore unto you, that this salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and [that] they will hear it.

¹⁹ But I say, hath not Israel known? First, Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by no people, by a foolish nation I will anger you.

¹ I say then, Hath God cast away his people whom he foreknew? By no means. For I also am an Israelite, of the feed of Abraham, [of] the tribe of Benjamin.

¹² Now if the fall of them [be] the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles: how much more their fulness?

¹⁴ If by any means I may provoke to emulation my flesh, and might save some of them.

³¹ Even so have these also now not believed, that thro' the mercy bestowed on you they also may now obtain mercy.

¹⁵ For if the casting away of them [be] the reconciling of the world; what [shall] the receiving [be], but life from the dead?

³³ O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

⁸ Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ.

²⁷ To whom God would make known the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

¹⁵ And the seventh angel sounded, and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdom of this world is become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ, and he shall reign for ever and ever. ¹⁶ And the twenty-four elders who sit before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, ¹⁷ Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God almighty, who art, and wast; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. ¹⁸ And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets; and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great, to destroy them who destroy the earth. ¹⁹ And the temple of God was opened, which is in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his covenant: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thundrings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

¹⁵ But the Lord said unto him, Go: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel.

² As they ministred to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul, for the work whereunto I have called them.

²¹ And he said unto me, Depart: for I send thee far unto the Gentiles.

¹⁷ Delivering thee from the people, and the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, ¹⁸ To open their eyes, and to turn [them] from darkness to light, and[from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them who are sanctified by faith that is in me.

¹⁶ That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministring the Gospel of God; that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost. ¹⁷ I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ. ¹⁸ For I will not dare to say any of those things, which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed, ¹⁹ Through his mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Holy Spirit; so that from Jerusalem unto Illyricum and round about, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

¹⁶ To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

² And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them who were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run in vain.

⁷ But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as that of the circumcision was unto Peter; ⁸ For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me towards the Gentiles. ⁹ And when Peter, James, and John, who seemed to be pillars, prceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we [should go] unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

⁷ Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, I speak the truth, I lie not, a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

¹¹ Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. ¹² For the which cause I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

¹¹ I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? By no means; but thro' their fall, salvation [is] unto the Gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy.

²¹ For after that, in the wisdom of God, the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of the preaching to save them that believe.

¹⁶ For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save the husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save the wife or not?

²⁰ And unto the Jews, I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as not being my self under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; ²¹ To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ) that I might gain them that are without law. ²² To the weak became I weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save all men.

⁴ Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

¹⁶ Take heed unto thy self, and unto thy doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt save both thy self, and them that hear thee.

¹⁰ Therefore I endure all things for the elects sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.

¹² Whom I have sent to thee: receive him, that is mine own bowels.

²⁰ Let him know, that he who converteth a sinner from the error of his way, shall save his soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

²⁴ For this my son was dead, and is alive again;he [was] lost, and is now found. And they began to be merry.

³² It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again;was lost, and is found.

¹⁰ For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son: much more being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. ¹¹ And not only this, but we also joy in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have already received the atonement.

¹⁸ And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; ¹⁹ To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of the gospel of reconciliation. ²⁰ Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech by us: we pray in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled unto God.

¹⁰ That in the dispensation of the fulness of times, he would gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth, in him:

²⁰ And having made peace through his cross to reconcile all things unto himself, whether things upon earth or things in heaven. ²¹ And you that were sometime alienated, and enemies of his mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled,

¹¹ And after three days and an half, the Spirit of life from God entred into them: and they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell upon them who few them.

⁴ And I saw thrones, and they satupon them, and judgment was given unto them: and the souls of them that had been conquered in war, for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the wild beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon [their] forehead, and in their Hand; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. ⁵ The rest of the dead lived not until the thousand years were finished. This [is] the first resurrection. ⁶ Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection; on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God, and of Christ, and they reign with him a thousand years.

¹⁷ And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in amongst them, and with them partakest of the fatness of the olive-tree;

¹⁴ For the unbelieving husband hath been sanctified by the believing wife, and the unbelieving wife hath been sanctified by the brother: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

¹⁸ Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first-fruits of his creatures.

⁴ These are not defiled with women; for they are virgins: these are they that follow the lamb whithersoever he goeth: these were redeemed from among [men,] first-fruits unto God, and to the Lamb.

¹¹ And I say unto you, that many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of the heavens. ¹² But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

⁴³ Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

² Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh it away: and every one that beareth fruit, he will purge it, that it may bear more fruit.

⁶ If any one abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and they gather it, and cast [it] into the fire, and it is burned.

³⁹ For the promise is ours, and to our children, and to all that are afar off, as many as the Lord our God shall call.

¹⁵ We Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles;

¹¹ Wherefore remember that ye [were] in time passed Gentiles in the flesh; who are called uncircumcision by that which is called the circumcision in the flesh made by hands; ¹² That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: ¹³ But now in Christ Jesus, ye who sometimes were far off, are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

⁶ That the Gentiles should be fellow-heirs; and of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ, by the gospel:

¹³ And you being dead in your sins, by the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickned, having forgiven us all our trespasses,

⁴ These are the two olive-trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the Lord of the earth.

³³ Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be scandalized because of thee, I will never be scandalized.

⁹ And he spake unto certain who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised other men: ¹⁰ Two men went up to the temple to pray; one a Pharisee, and one a publican. ¹¹ The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed thus, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men [are], extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

²² Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship; for salvation is of the Jews.

¹⁶ But other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they will hear my voice; and they will be one fold, one shepherd.

²⁷ Where [is] boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? No: but of the law of faith.

¹⁶ Therefore [it is] of the faith of Jesus, by grace; to the end that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,

²⁰ Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not high minded, but fear.

¹² Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth, take heed lest he fall.

²⁹ And if ye be one in Christ Jesus, then indeed are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

¹⁹ Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the houshold of God; ²⁰ And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone;

²³ And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. ²⁴ For if thou wert cut out of the olive-tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive-tree; how much more shall these which be the natural, be graffed into their own olive-tree?

¹⁴ I tell you, this man went down justified [rather] than that Pharisee: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself, shall be exalted.

¹⁷ The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, thou hast no husband: ¹⁸ For thou hast had five husbands, and he whom thou now hast is not they husband: in that saidest thou truly.

⁴⁶ But Paul and Barnabas waxed bold,and said unto them, The word of God was to be first spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge your selves unworthy of eternal life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles. ⁴⁷ For so hath the Lord commanded us, Behold I have set thee to be a light to the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

³ For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

¹ Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ. ² By whom also we have access into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

¹⁸ Boast not against the branches: but if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.

¹⁶ [Be] of the same mind one towards another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits,

¹³ Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

²⁴ Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.

⁵ Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth it self against the knowledge of God, and captivating every thought, and bringing it unto the obedience of Christ:

¹² Wherefore my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

⁷ Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have also been taught, abounding in him with thanksgiving.

⁴ Who opposeth and exateth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

¹⁷ Charge them that are the rich of this present age, that they be not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy:

³ Without natural affection, truce breakers, false-accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, ⁴ Treacherous, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more that lovers of God; ⁵ Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away:

¹² Take heed, Brethren, lest here be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

¹⁹ So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

⁶ Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached, entered not in because of unbelief:

¹¹ Let us labour therefore, Brethren, to enter into that rest, lest any man fall from the same example of truth.

¹⁹ Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the daemons also believe, and tremble.

⁶ But he giveth more grace: wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

¹⁷ And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

⁵ Likewise ye younger, submit your selves unto the elder: yea, and all one with another, be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. ⁶ Humble your selves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in the time of visitation.

⁹ Whom resist stedfast in the faith; knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the World.

¹² By Silvanus a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying, that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.

¹⁷ Because thou sayst, I am rich and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.

⁷ How much she hath glorified her self, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, that I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

³² He that did not so much as spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

¹⁹ Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.

¹ For, I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; ² And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud, and in the sea; ³ And did all eat the same spiritual meat; ⁴ And did all drink the same spiritual drink: For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. ⁵ But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. ⁶ Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil thing, as they also lusted. ⁷ Neither be ye idolaters, as [were] also some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. ⁸ Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell [Read [four and twenty thousand], from [Numb.] xxv. 9. and some [Greek] Copies.]three and twenty thousand. ⁹ Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. ¹⁰ Neither murmur ye, as some of them murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. ¹¹ Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. ¹² Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth, take heed lest he fall.

⁴ For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast [them] down to Tartarus, and delivered [them] into chains [and] darknesses to be reserved to be punished; ⁵ And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth [person], a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; ⁶ And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes, condemned [them] with an overthrow, making [them] an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; ⁷ And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: ⁸ For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day, with [their] unlawful Deeds. ⁹ The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

⁵ I will therefore put you in remembrance, who once knew all things, how that Jesus having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

⁹ And think not to say within your selves, We have Abraham to [our] father: for I say unto you, that God is able of there stones to raise up children unto Abraham. ¹⁰ Now also the ax is laid to the root of the trees: therefore every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

¹⁵ But that on the good ground, are they, who in a good heart, having heard the word of God, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

¹⁵ And he said unto them, Where is your faith?And they being afraid, wondred, saying one to another, What a man is this? for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.

³¹ Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed on him, If ye will continue in my word, ye are my disciples indeed;

⁴ As the branch cannot bear fruit of it self, except it abide in the vine: so neither can ye, except ye abide in me. ⁵ For I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, he bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye cannot do any [thing]. ⁶ If any one abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and they gather it, and cast [it] into the fire, and it is burned. ⁷ But if ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatsoever ye will, and it shall be done. ⁸ Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit, so be ye my disciples. ⁹ As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: abide ye in my love. ¹⁰ If ye shall keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I also have kept my Fathers commandments, and abide in his love.

²³ Who when he came also and had seen the grace of God, rejoiced, and exhorted all, that with purpose of heart they would continue with the Lord.

²² Confirming the souls of the disciples, [and] exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation come into the kingdom of God.

⁴ Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness, and forbearance, and long-suffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? ⁵ But after thy hardness and impenitent heart, treasurest up unto thy self wrath against the day of wrath, and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

⁷ To them who by patient continuance in well-doing, seek for glory, and honour, and immortality; eternal life:

²² [What] if God, willing to shew [his] wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much long-suffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: ²³ And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory?

² By which also ye are saved. Ye ought to keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

⁹ And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

⁵ For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith; lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in vain.

⁸ For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.

⁶ But Christ as a Son over his own house: which house are we, if we hold fast the confidence, and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

¹⁴ For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

²³ Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering, for he [is] faithful that promised:

³⁵ Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. ³⁶ For ye have need of patience; that after ye have done the will of God ye may receive the promise. ³⁷ For yet a while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. ³⁸ Now the just shall live by my faith: but if he draw back, my foul shall have no pleasure in him. ³⁹ But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition: but of them that believe, to the saving of the soul.

¹⁹ They went out from us, but they were not of us: for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us; but that they might be made manifest, that they were not all of us.

²⁰ But ye, beloved, building up yourselves in your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, ²¹ Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

⁵ Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee, and will remove thy candlestick our of his place, except thou repent.

³⁹ For I say unto you, that ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of God.

¹⁶ Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

³⁰ For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy thro' their unbelief:

²⁴ And they shall fall by the edge of the sword; and shall be led away captive unto all nations; and Jerusalem shall be troden down of the Gentiles; until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

¹³ Now I suppose that you are not ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, but was hindered hitherto, that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.

⁷ What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded: ⁸ According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, unto this day.

²⁵ Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

¹ For, I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

¹ Now concerning spiritual [gifts], brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

¹⁴ But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away, in the reading of the old testament; which is done away in Christ. ¹⁵ But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart, ¹⁶ Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

³ How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery, as I wrote afore in few words, ⁴ Whereby when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ.

⁹ And to make all men see, what [is] the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world, hath been hid in God, who created all things.

⁸ But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

⁹ After this I beheld a great multitude, and no man could number them, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, standing before the throne, and before the Lamb, cloathed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

⁷ But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall be about to sound, the mystery of God is finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

¹⁵ And the seventh angel sounded, and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdom of this world is become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ, and he shall reign for ever and ever.

² And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years. ³ And cast him into the abyss, and shut [him] up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: after that he must be loosed a little season. ⁴ And I saw thrones, and they satupon them, and judgment was given unto them: and the souls of them that had been conquered in war, for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the wild beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon [their] forehead, and in their Hand; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

²¹ And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

²⁶ Unto you first, God having raised up his Son, sent him forth to bless [you,] in turning away every one from your iniquities.

¹⁴ Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

²⁹ The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, who taketh away the sin of the world.

⁸ For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold the days come, saith the Lord, whn I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and the house of Judah: ⁹ Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. ¹⁰ For this [is] my covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people. ¹¹ And they shall not teach every man his [fellow] citizen, and every man [his] brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shalt know me, from the least to the greatest. ¹² For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

¹⁶ This [is] the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their mind will I write them:

⁵⁴ He hath holpen his servant Israel, to remember [his] mercy,

⁶⁸ Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, for he hath visited and redeemed his people, ⁶⁹ And hath raised an horn of salvation for us, in the house of David his Servant; ⁷⁰ Ashe spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, who have been since the world began; ⁷¹ Salvation from the hand of our enemies, and of all that hate us. ⁷² To perform the mercy to our fathers, to remember his holy covenant; ⁷³ The oath which he sware to our father Abraham, ⁷⁴ To grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hands of our enemies, might serve him without fear, ⁷⁵ In holiness and righteousness before him, all our days.

⁴⁵ And when the Jews saw the multitude, they were filled with envy, and contradicted those words which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming. ⁴⁶ But Paul and Barnabas waxed bold,and said unto them, The word of God was to be first spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge your selves unworthy of eternal life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

² But the heads of the Jews and the rulers of the synagogue brought on a persecution against the righteous, and made the minds of the Gentiles evil affected against the brethren: but the Lord gave them peace quickly.

¹⁰ For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son: much more being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

⁵ Whose [are] the fathers; and of whom as concerning the flesh is Christ, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

⁷ What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded:

¹⁵ Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and the prophets, and have persecuted us; and please not God, and are contrary to all men: ¹⁶ Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles, that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath of God is come upon them to the uttermost.

²⁸ And we know that all things work together for good, to them that love God, to them who are called according to [his] purpose.

²¹ But this with an oath, by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

⁹ Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, ¹⁰ Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God: ¹¹ And such were some of you: but ye have been washed, but ye have been sanctified, but ye have been justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by the Spirit of our God.

²⁵ Now concerning virgins, I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful.

¹ Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy we faint not:

¹ And you who were dead in your trespasses and sins, ² Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.

¹⁹ Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the houshold of God; ²⁰ And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone; ²¹ In whom all the building fitly framed together, groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

⁷ In the which ye also walked some time when ye lived in them.

¹⁸ This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare,

³ For we our selves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, [and] hating one another. ⁴ But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, ⁵ Not by works of righteousness, which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us by the washing of regeneration, and renewing by the Holy Ghost; ⁶ Which he shed on us abundantly, through Jesus Christ our Saviour: ⁷ That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

¹⁰ Who in time past [were] not a people, but [are] now the people of God: who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

¹⁶ But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

⁷ He came for a witness, to bear witness of the light, that all through him might believe.

³² And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all things unto me.

²² Even the righteousness of God by faith of Jesus Christ unto all, and upon all them that believe; for there is no difference:

²² But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

⁴ Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. ⁵ For [there is] one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; ⁶ Who gave himself a ransom for all; whose testimony was given in his own times.

⁴ Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness, and forbearance, and long-suffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

⁷ In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

⁷ That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace, in kindness towards us, through Christ.

¹⁰ To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly [places], might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

¹⁶ That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might, by his Spirit in the inner man;

¹⁸ May be able to comprehend with all saints, what [is] the breadth, and length, and height, and depth;

² That their hearts might be comforted, they being knit together in love, unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; ³ In whom are all the hidden treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

¹⁶ For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

¹⁵ Is it not lawlul for me to do what I will with mine own? is thine eye evil because I am good?

⁷ For who maketh thee to differ? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive [it], why dost thou glory as if thou hadst not received [it]

¹³ And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

¹⁴ Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, among men of good will.

³⁸ Saying, Blessed [be] he that cometh in the name of the Lord: Blessed be the King. Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.

²⁵ Neither is worshipped with mens hands, as though he was in need, for he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; ²⁶ And he made of one blood, every nation of man, to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times appointed, according to the bound of their habitation:

²⁸ For in it we live, and move, and are; every day; as certain also of your own poets have said; For we are also his offspring.

²⁷ To God only wise, [be] glory through Jesus Christ for ever and ever. Amen.

⁶ But to us is one God, the Father, of whom [are] all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom [are] all things, and we by him.

¹² For as the woman [is] of the man, even so [is] the man also by the woman; but all things of God.

⁵ To whom [be] glory for ever and ever, Amen.

²¹ Unto him [be] glory in the church by Christ Jesus, through out all ages, world without end. Amen.

⁶ One God and Father of all, who [is] above all, and though all, and in you all. ⁷ But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. ⁸ Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led a captivity captive, [and] gave gifts unto men. ⁹ Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended into the lower parts of the earth? ¹⁰ He that descended, is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.

²⁰ Now unto God and our Father [be] glory for ever and ever. Amen.

¹⁵ Who is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of the whole creation. ¹⁶ For by him were all things created that are in heaven, and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him. ¹⁷ And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

¹⁷ Now unto the King of ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, [be] honour andglory, for ever and ever. Amen,

¹⁶ Who only hath immortality, and dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto, whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom [be] honour and eternal power. Amen.

¹⁸ The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve [me] unto his heavenly kingdom; to whom [be] glory for ever and ever. Amen.

¹⁰ For it became him, for whom [are] all things, and by whom [are] all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

²¹ Make us perfect in every good work: that we may do his will; working in us that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] glory for ever: Amen.

¹¹ If any man speak, as the oracles of God; if any man minister, as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

¹¹ To him [be] dominion for ever and ever. Amen,

¹⁸ But grow in grace, and [in] the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ: to him [be] glory, both now and for ever. Amen.

²⁵ To the only God our Saviour, by Jesus Christ our Lord, [be] glory, majesty, dominion and power, before all ages, both now and ever. Amen.

⁵ And from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the first-begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth: Unto him that loved us, and loosed us from [our] sins in his own blood. ⁶ And hath made us a kingdom, [and] priests unto God, and his father; to whom [be] glory and dominion for ever. Amen.

¹⁰ The twenty-four elders will fall down before him that sits on the throne, and will worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and will cast their crowns before the throne, saying, ¹¹ Thou art worthy, O our Lord and God, to receive glory, and honour, and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they were.

¹² Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain, [to] receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength and honour, and glory, and blessing. ¹³ And every creature which [is] in heaven, and on the earth, and such as [are] in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I, saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, [and] unto the Lamb for ever and ever! ¹⁴ And the four animals said, Amen. And the elders fell down and worshipped.

¹⁰ And they cry with a loud voice, saying. Salvation to our God who sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

¹ After these things I heard as it were a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, The power and glory of our God:

⁶ And I heard the voice of a great multitude, and the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thundrings, saying Alleluia: forthe Lord God omnipotent reigneth. ⁷ Let us be glad and rejoyce, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made her self ready.

⁶ And he said unto me. They are done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end: I will give unto him that is athirst, of the water of life freely.
