² God hath not cast away his people whom he foreknew. Know ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel,

¹ And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost, returned from Jordan, and was led by the spirit into the wilderness,

¹ When therefore the Lord Jesus knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John, ² Though Jesus himself baptized not, but the disciples. ³ He left the land of Judea, and departed again into Galilee.

¹¹ The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast no bucket and the well is deep: Whence hast thou that living water?

¹⁷ And now men and Brethren, know ye, that you indeed through ignorance did a wicked thing, as also your rulers.

⁴⁰ Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for this Moses, who brought us out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him.

⁴⁸ And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and received the word of God: and as many as were ordained to eternal life, believed.

¹⁸ Known unto the Lord is his work from the beginning of the world.

²⁹ For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the first-born among many brethren. ³⁰ Moreover, whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

⁶ Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For all that are of Israel, are not Israelites.

²³ And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory?

² Or do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

²² But whether I live in the flesh, this [is] worth my while; yet what I shall choose, I wot not.

¹ GOD, who at sundry times, and in divers manners, spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, ² Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit unto obedience, and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you and peace be multiplied.
