¹⁸ And when he came into the ship, the dæmoniack began to pray him that he might be with him.

⁷ And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.

¹⁷ And they prayed him to depart out of their coasts.

³⁸ Now the man out of whom the daemons were departed, besought him that he might be with him: but he sent him away, saying, ³⁹ Go to thine own house, showing how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went away, and published in the city, how great things Jesus had done unto him.

¹⁵ And one of them when he saw that he was cleansed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God. ¹⁶ And fell down on [his] face at his feet: and he was a Samaritan. ¹⁷ And Jesus answering said to them, Were there not ten cleansed? where [are] the nine?

⁴² And turning to the Lord, he said to him, Remember me in the day of thy coming. ⁴³ But Jesus answered and said unto him, that rebuked [the other,] Be of good courage, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

²³ But I am in a strait between two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: ²⁴ Nevertheless, to abide in the flesh, [is] more needful for you.
