⁶ If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.

⁸ And the LORD said to Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and shunneth evil?

²³ If thou shalt return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles. ²⁴ Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks. ²⁵ Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defense and thou shalt have plenty of silver. ²⁶ For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face to God. ²⁷ Thou shalt make thy prayer to him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows. ²⁸ Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established to thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. ²⁹ When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is exaltation; and he shall save the humble person. ³⁰ He shall deliver the island of the innocent: and it is delivered by the pureness of thy hands.

¹⁹ And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. ²⁰ For if our heart condemneth us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. ²¹ Beloved, if our heart doth not condemn us, then have we confidence towards God. ²² And whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
