4 The roads of Zion mourn without any going to the appointed feasts. All her gates are deserted; her priests sigh; her virgins are afflicted, and she is in bitterness.

Isaiah 24:4-6

Joel 1:8-13

8 Mourn like a virgin dressed in sackcloth for the husband of her youth! 9 The offering and libation are withheld from the house of the LORD. The priests mourn, the ministers of the LORD. 10 "The field is laid waste, the land mourns. The grain is destroyed, the new wine dried up, the oil fails. 11 Be ashamed, O you farmers; wail, O you vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field has perished. 12 The vine is dried up, and the fig trees have become few; the pomegranate, and palm tree, and apple, and all the trees of the field have dried up: for the sons of men have abolished joy. 13 Gird yourselves, and lament, you priests: wail, you ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, you ministers of my God: for the grain offering and the drink offering is withheld from the house of your God.

Micah 3:12

12 Therefore, because of you, Zion will be plowed up like a field, and Jerusalem will become heaps of rubble, and the temple Mount like a forest high place."
