⁴⁰ He replied, "I tell you, if they were quiet, the stones would cry out!"

¹² If we endure, we will reign with him! If we disown him, he will also disown us! ¹³ if we are faithless, he remains faithful; for he cannot disown himself."

¹⁶ They profess to know God, but by their actions they disown Him; they are detestable, disobedient, and useless for anything good.

⁸ I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word, and have not denied my name.
