Isaiah 3:9 Cross References - VIN

⁹ The look of their faces testify against them. They parade their sin like Sodom. They do not hide it. Woe to their soul. For they have brought disaster upon themselves.

¹³ The men of Sodom were wicked and sinned greatly against the LORD.

²⁰ And the LORD said, "The cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and their sin is exceeding grievous. ²¹ I will go down now, and see whether their deeds are as bad as the reports which have come to me. If not, I will know.

⁵ They called to Lot, and said to him, "Where are the men who came in to you this night? Bring them out to us, that we may have sex with them." ⁶ Lot went out to them to the door, and shut the door after him. ⁷ and said, I pray you, my brethren, do not wickedly! ⁸ Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man. I pray you, let me bring them out to you, and you do to them as you see fit. But do nothing to these men, for this is why they came under the shadow of my roof. ⁹ And they say, Draw back. And they say, This one came in to sojourn and in judging, he judges: now we vilify you, rather than them. And they urge mightily on the man, Lot and come near to break the door.

³² Then Samuel said, Bring here to me Agag the king of the Amalekites! Agag came to him confidently, thinking, Surely the bitterness of death is past.

³⁰ ¶ And Jehu came to Jezreel, and when Jezebel heard of it, she painted her face and tired her head and looked out of a window.

⁴ The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek. All his thoughts are "There is no God."

⁶ Therefore pride is their necklace and violence covers them like a garment. ⁷ Their eyes bulge with fat, their minds pass the limits of conceit.

³⁶ "But he who sins against me wrongs himself. All who hate me love death."

¹³ A generation, whose eyes are lofty, and their eyelids lifted up on high.

¹⁶ Moreover LORD said, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with outstretched necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet,

³ Therefore rain showers have been withheld, and the spring rain has not come. Yet you have the forehead of a woman prostitute, you refuse to be ashamed.

¹⁵ Were they ashamed when they made an abomination? They were not at all ashamed, nor did they know to blush. So they shall fall among those who fall. At the time I visit them, they shall be cast down, says the LORD.

¹⁶ "We refuse to listen to what you have told us in the name of the LORD. ¹⁷ But we will certainly do whatever thing goes out of our own mouth, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings to her, as we have done, we and our fathers, our kings, and our rulers, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. And we had plenty of food, and were well, and saw no evil.

¹⁶ The crown has fallen from our head. Woe to us, for we have sinned!

¹⁶ As soon as she saw them, she lusted after them and sent messengers to them into Chaldea.

²⁰ And concerning the ten horns that were on its head, and the other horn which came up, and before which three fell, even that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spoke arrogant things, whose look was larger than the others.

⁹ You are destroyed, Israel, because you are against me, against your help.

²³ For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
