12 So receive him, who is my very heart
13 —I would have liked to keep him with me, so that he might minister to me in your place, while I’m in chains for the Gospel,
14 but I didn’t want to do anything without your consent, so that your contribution might be voluntary, not as an imposition.
15 Perhaps this is the reason he was separated from you for a while, that you might have him back for ever,
16 no longer as a slave but better than a slave as a dear brother, especially to me, but even more so to you, both as a person and as a believer.

6 »Many camels will cover your land, young camels from Midian and Ephah. Everyone from Sheba will come. They will bring gold and incense. They will sing the praises of the LORD.
7 All the flocks of Kedar will be gathered together to you. The rams of Nebaioth will serve you. They will be accepted as offerings on my altar; and I will beautify my glorious house.
8 "Who are these people that fly by like clouds and like doves to their nests?
9 Surely the islands shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring your sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, for the name of the LORD your God, and for the Holy One of Israel, because he has glorified you.
10 “Foreigners will build up your walls, and their kings will serve you: for in my wrath I struck you, but in my favor I have had mercy on you.
11 "Your gates will always be open. They will never be closed day or night so that people may bring you the wealth of the nations. Even their kings are led as prisoners.
12 For that nation and kingdom that will not serve you will perish. Yes, those nations will be utterly wasted.
13 The glory of Lebanon shall come to you: the juniper, the box tree, and the cypress together, to beautify the place of My sanctuary; yea, I will glorify the place of My feet.
14 "The sons of those who oppress you will bow in front of you. All who loathe you will bow at your feet. They will call you the city of the LORD, Zion, the city of the Holy One of Israel.
15 Although you have been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through you, I will make you an eternal excellence, a joy of many generations.
16 You will also drink the milk of the nations, and will nurse from royal breasts. Then you will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior, your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
17 For bronze I will bring gold; for iron I will bring silver; for wood, bronze, and for stones, iron. I will also make peace your governor, and righteousness your ruler.
18 Violence will no more be heard in your land, desolation nor destruction within your borders, but you will call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise.
19 The sun will be no more your light by day; nor will the brightness of the moon give light to you, but the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.
20 Your sun will no more go down, nor your moon withdraw; for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning will be ended.
21 "Then all your people will be righteous and they will possess the land everlastingly. They will be the seedlings I have planted, the honored work of my hands.
22 The little one shall become a thousand, and the smallest a mighty nation: I, the LORD, will hasten it in its time.
Micah 4:2-4
2 And many nations will come and say, "Come! Let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the temple of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways, and that we may walk in his paths," for the law will go out from Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
3 And he will judge between many peoples and will decide concerning strong nations afar off. And they will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning-hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, nor will they learn war any more.
4 Each man will sit under his vine and under his fig tree. No one will make them afraid! The mouth of the LORD Almighty has spoken.

Matthew 5:44-45
Acts 2:41-47
41 Those who embraced his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to the believers that day.
42 They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
43 Everyone was filled with awe; and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.
44 All the believers were together and had everything in common.
45 Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need.
46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they ate together with glad and sincere hearts,
47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Acts 4:29-35
29 And now, Lord, consider their threats, and enable Your servants to speak Your word with complete boldness,
30 as You stretch out Your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of Your holy servant Jesus.”
31 After they had prayed, their meeting place was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.
32 The congregation of believers was one in heart and soul. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they owned.
33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was on them all.
34 There were no needy ones among them, because those who owned lands or houses would sell their property, bring the proceeds from the sales,
35 and laid it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need.
Romans 11:25-26
25 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.
26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come from Zion, He will remove godlessness from Jacob.
Romans 12:17-21
17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Carefully consider what is right in the eyes of everybody.
18 If possible, so far as it depends on you, live in peace with everybody.
19 Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but leave room for God’s wrath. For it is written: “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”
20 On the contrary, “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink. For in so doing, you will heap burning coals on his head.”
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Revelation 20:2-6
2 He seized the dragon, the ancient serpent who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.
3 He threw him into the pit, and closed it and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that time, he must be released for a short while.
4 Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom judgment was given. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony to Jesus and because of the word of God, and who had not worshipped the beast or his image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life, and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection! The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him for a thousand years.

27 But nothing impure shall enter into it, nor shall any man who commits shameful acts, or who lies: but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life.

10 on the day He comes to be glorified in His saints and regarded with wonder by all who have believed, including you who have believed our testimony.

9 There remains then a Sabbath rest for the people of God.
10 for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his.
11 Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one may fail by following their example of disobedience.
12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight; everything is uncovered and exposed before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
14 Therefore, since we have such a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we profess.
15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who was tempted in every way that we are, yet was without sin.
16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Ezekiel 37:1-28
1 The hand of the LORD was upon me and he brought me out in the Spirit of the LORD and set me down in the midst of the valley and it was full of bones.
2 He caused me to pass among them round about. There were very many on the surface of the valley and they were very dry.
3 He said to me: "Son of man, can these bones live?" I answered, "O Sovereign LORD, you know."
4 And He said to me, Prophesy to these bones and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD:
5 "'The Sovereign LORD says to these bones: "I will cause breath to enter you that you may come to life.
6 I will lay sinews on you, and will bring up flesh on you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you will live. Then you will know that I am the LORD.”'”
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
8 And I beheld and lo! sinews and flesh were grown upon them, and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.
9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the wind, prophesy, son of man, and tell the wind, 'The Sovereign LORD says: “Come from the four winds, breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”'”
10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath entered into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, a very great congregation.
11 Then he said to me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost. We are clean cut off.
12 Prophesy and tell them: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "My people, I will open your graves and take you out of them. I will bring you to Israel.
13 So shall ye know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves, and bring you out of them.
14 'I will put my Spirit in you, and you will live. I will place you in your own land. Then you will know that I, the LORD, have spoken, and I have done it,' declares the LORD."
15 And the word of the LORD was to me,
16 "Son of man, take a stick and write on it: For Judah and for the Israelites who are associated with it.' Then take another stick and write on it: 'The stick of Ephraim, for Joseph and for all the people of Israel associated with it.'
17 And join them to one another into one stick. And they shall become one in your hand.
18 'Tell us what you mean by this.'
19 Then say to them: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will take Joseph's stick, which is in Ephraim's hand, and the tribes of Israel associated with it, and I will put them with Judah's stick. I will make them into one stick. They will be one in my hand."'
20 When you hold the sticks in your hand, let the people see them.
21 "Tell them: 'The Sovereign LORD says: "I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from everywhere and bring them to their own land.
22 I will form them into one nation in the land on the mountains of Israel. One king will rule all of them. They will no longer be two nations or be divided into two kingdoms.
23 They will no longer dishonor themselves with their idols, with their detestable things, or with their rebellious acts. I will forgive them for all the times they turned away from me and sinned. I will cleanse them so that they will be my people, and I will be their God.
24 And my servant David will be king over them and they all will have one shepherd. They will also walk in my ordinances and observe my statutes and do them.
25 "'"They will live in the land that I gave my servant Jacob, the land where their ancestors lived. They, their children, and their grandchildren will live in it for a very long time. My servant David will be their prince for a very long time.
26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them. It will be an everlasting covenant with them. I will place them, multiply them, and will set my sanctuary among them forever more.
27 "'"My dwelling place will be with them. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
28 The nations will know that I am the LORD who sanctifies Israel, when my sanctuary is among them forever more.”'”

3 "They cast lots for my people, and traded a boy for a prostitute, and sold a girl for wine, that they may drink.
4 "Yes, and what are you to me, Tyre, and Sidon, and all the regions of Philistia? Will you repay me? And if you repay me, I will swiftly and speedily return your repayment on your own head.
5 since you took my silver and gold, carried my precious treasures into your temples,
6 and sold the sons of Juda and the sons of Jerusalem to the Greeks, that you might remove them far from their borders;
7 "Behold, I will arouse them out of the place where you sold them and will return your recompense upon your head.
8 I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they will sell them to the Sabeans and to a nation far away, for the LORD has spoken.
9 Proclaim this among the nations: "Prepare for war. Stir up the mighty men. Let all the warriors draw near. Let them come up.
10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak say, 'I am strong.'
11 Hurry and come, all the nations, from all around, and gather yourselves there. Bring down your mighty warriors, O LORD!
12 Let the nations, be roused, and come up, into the Vale of Jehoshaphat,—for, there, will I sit to judge all the nations, on every side.
13 (4:13) Put forth the sickle; for the harvest is ripe: come, tread down the grapes; for the press is full; the vats overflow; for great is their wickedness.
14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision. For the day of the LORD is near, in the valley of decision.
15 The sun and moon will grow dark, and the stars will stop shining.
16 the LORD will roar from Zion, and thunder from Jerusalem; the heavens and the earth will shake, but the LORD will be a refuge for His people, and a stronghold to the children of Israel.
17 "And truly you will know that I am the LORD your God, dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain. Then Jerusalem will be holy, and no foreigners will invade her again.
18 It will happen in that day, that the mountains will drop down sweet wine, the hills will flow with milk, all the brooks of Judah will flow with waters, and a fountain will flow out from the LORD's house, and will water the valley of Shittim.
19 Egypt will be desolate, and Edom will be a desert, because of violence against the people of Judah since they shed innocent blood in their land.
20 But Judah will be inhabited forever, and Jerusalem for all generations.
21 And I will pardon their bloodguilt, which I have not pardoned, for the LORD dwells in Zion."

10 I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and there won’t be room enough for them.
11 He will pass through the sea of affliction, and will strike the waves in the sea, and all the depths of the Nile will dry up; and the pride of Assyria will be brought down, and the scepter of Egypt will depart.
12 I will make them strong in the LORD, and in his name they will walk, declares the LORD.
Zechariah 12:1-14
1 An oracle. The word of the LORD concerning Israel. The LORD, who stretches out the heavens, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him says:
2 "Look, I will make Jerusalem a cup of reeling to all the surrounding peoples, and on Judah also will it be in the siege against Jerusalem.
3 And in that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it shall be slashed. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.
4 In that day I will strike every horse with panic and his rider with madness, says the LORD. And I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and I will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.
5 And the families of Judah will say in their hearts, The people of Jerusalem have their strength in the Lord of armies, their God.
6 " 'On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a pan of fire among sticks of wood, and like a torch of fire among stalks of grain, and they will devour to the right and to the left all the surrounding peoples, and Jerusalem will be inhabited again in its place, in Jerusalem.
7 And the LORD will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem may not be exalted over Judah.
8 "In that day the LORD will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. He that is feeble among them will be like David. For the house of David will be like God, like the angel of the LORD before them.
9 And then on that day I will seek to destroy all the nations coming against Jerusalem.
10 I will pour on the house of David, and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they will look to Me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and will grieve bitterly for him, as one grieves for his firstborn.
11 In that day the mourning in Jerusalem shall be great, like the mourning of Hadad-rimmon in the valley of Megiddo.
12 The land will mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
13 the family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;
14 And all the other families by themselves, and their wives by themselves.
