¹ Therefore, holy brothers, who share in the heavenly calling, set your minds on Jesus, the apostle and high priest whom we confess.

⁴ The LORD has sworn, and will not change his mind: "You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek."

³ The ox knows his owner, and the donkey his master's crib; but Israel doesn't know, my people do not understand.

¹² And the harp and the viol, the tambourine and flutes and wine are in their feasts; but they do not regard the work of the LORD, nor consider the work of his hands.

²⁰ »People may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand (power) of the LORD has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.

³ Therefore, you son of man, prepare you belongings for moving, and move by day in their sight; and you shall move from your place to another place in their sight: it may be they will consider, though they are a rebellious house.

²⁸ Because he considers and turns away from all his transgressions that he has committed, he will surely live. He will not die.

⁵ For this cause the Lord of armies has said, Give thought to your ways.

¹⁵ Now, please consider from this day and backward, before a stone was laid on a stone in the LORD's temple.

²¹ Again Jesus said to them, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent Me, so also I am sending you.”

²⁷ Then Jesus said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and look at My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe.”

⁶ And you also are among those who are called to belong to Jesus Christ. ⁷ To all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁸ And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who are called according to his purpose. ²⁹ For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. ³⁰ And those He predestined He also called, those He called He also justified, those He justified He also glorified.

²⁴ us whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?

¹⁷ Now if some branches have been broken off, and you, a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others to share in the nourishment of the olive root,

⁸ For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews on behalf of God’s truth, to confirm the promises made to the patriarchs,

²⁷ They were pleased to do it, and indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual blessings, they are obligated to minister to them with material blessings.

² To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours:

²³ I do all this for the sake of the gospel, so that I may share in its blessings.

¹⁷ Because there is one loaf, we who are many are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf.

⁷ And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.

⁶ This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are fellow heirs, fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus.

¹ As a prisoner in the Lord, then, I urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling you have received:

⁴ There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called;

¹⁴ I press on toward the goal for the prize, to which God has called me upward in Christ Jesus.

¹² giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the light.

²² But now He has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy, unblemished, and blameless in His presence—

¹² Therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.

¹² We comforted and encouraged you, urging you to live in a manner worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.

²⁷ I charge you before the Lord to have this letter read to all the brothers.

¹¹ With this in mind we pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and would with power fulfill every good purpose and work of faith:

¹⁴ He called you to this through our gospel, that you may share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

² Moreover, those who have believing masters should be respectful to them, because they are fellow believers. In fact, they must serve them even better, because those who benefit from their service are believers and dear to them. These are the things you must teach and exhort.

¹² Fight the good fight of the faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

⁹ who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given us in Christ Jesus before the eternal times.

⁷ Consider what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all things.

¹¹ For he who makes holy and they who are made holy are all of one. For this cause he is not ashamed to call them brothers,

¹⁷ So He had to be made like His brothers in every way, that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, in order to make atonement for the sins of the people.

¹⁴ We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly to the end the assurance we had at first.

¹⁴ Therefore, since we have such a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we profess. ¹⁵ For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who was tempted in every way that we are, yet was without sin.

¹ Every high priest is appointed from among men to represent them in matters relating to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins. ² He is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and misguided, since he himself is beset by weakness. ³ Because of this he has to offer sacrifices for his own sins, as well as for the sins of the people. ⁴ No one takes this honor upon himself; he must be called by God, just as Aaron was. ⁵ So too Christ did not take for himself the glory of becoming a high priest, but he who said to him, "Thou art my Son, to-day I have become thy Father," ⁶ As he also says in another place, You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek. ⁷ During the days of Jesus’ earthly life, He offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the One who could save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverence. ⁸ Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered, ⁹ and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him, ¹⁰ and was designated by God as high priest in the order of Melchizedek.

²⁰ where Jesus our forerunner has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.

²⁶ We need such a high priest {— } one who is holy, innocent, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens.

¹ The point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, ² and who ministers in the sanctuary and true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by man. ³ Every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices. So it was necessary for this One also to have something to offer.

¹¹ But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come, he entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation.

²¹ and since we have a great priest over the house of God,

⁹ But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God; that you should declare the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.

⁵ For so of old the holy women who hoped in God adorned themselves. They were submissive to their own husbands,

¹ The elders among you I exhort, who am a fellowelder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, who am also a sharer in the glory that is to be revealed;

¹⁰ And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen and establish you.

³ His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. ⁴ Through these he has given us his precious and wonderful promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, seeing that you have escaped the corruption that is in the world caused by evil desires. ⁵ For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith virtue; and to virtue, knowledge; ⁶ and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; ⁷ and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. ⁸ For if you possess these qualities and continue to grow in them, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. ⁹ But whoever lacks these traits is nearsighted to the point of blindness, having forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins. ¹⁰ Therefore, brethren, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall;

³ We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And this fellowship of ours is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.

¹ Judas, a servant of Jesus Christ and a brother of James, to those who have been called, who are beloved by God the Father and kept by Jesus Christ:

¹⁴ These will make war with the Lamb and the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those called and chosen and faithful with him.

²⁰ Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets; for God has judged her for what she did to you.
