³⁸ And Balam sayed vnto Balac: Loo I am come vnto the. But I can saye nothynge at all saue what God putteth in my mouthe that must I speake.

¹⁶ They confesse that they knowe god: but with the dedes they denye hym and are abhominable and disobedient and vnto all good workes discommendable.

¹⁸ that by two immutable thinges (in which it was vnpossible that god shuld lye) we myght have parfect consolacion which have fled for to holde fast the hope that is set before vs

¹⁷ Every good gyfte and every parfayt gyft is from above and commeth doune fro the father of light with whom is no variablenes nether is he chaunged vnto darcknes.

¹⁸ And Balam answered and sayed vnto the servauntes of Balac: Yf Balac wolde geue me his housfull of syluer and golde I can goo no further than the worde of the Lorde my god to do lesse or moare.

²⁷ my shepe heare my voyce and I knowe them and they folowe me ²⁸ and I geve vnto the eternall lyfe and they shall never perisshe nether shall eny man plucke the oute of my honde. ²⁹ My father which gave the me is greatter then all and no man is able to take them out of my fathers honde.

³⁸ Ye and I am sure that nether deeth nether lyfe nether angels nor rule nether power nether thinges present nether thinges to come ³⁹ nether heyth nether loweth nether eny other creature shalbe able to departe vs fro ye love of God shewed in Christ Iesu oure lorde.

⁵ which are kept by the power of God thorow fayth vnto salvacion which salvacion is prepared all redy to be shewed in the last tyme

²¹ And the Lorde went before them by daye in a piler of a cloude to lede them the waye: and by nyghte in a piler of fyre to geue the lighte: that they myghte goo both by day ad nyghte.

⁴⁵ And moreouer I will dwell amoge the children of Israel and wilbe their God. ⁴⁶ And they shal knowe that I am the Lorde their God that broughte them out of the lond of Egipte for to dwell amonge them: euen I the Lorde their God,

⁹ ad sayde: yf I haue foude grace in thi sighte o Lorde, than let my Lorde goo with us (for it is a stuburne people) and haue mercy apo oure wikednesse ad oure synne, and let us be thyne enheritaunce.

⁵ And he was in Israel kinge when he gathered the heedes of the people and the tribes of Israel to gether.

²³ Beholde a mayde shall be with chylde and shall brynge forthe a sonne and they shall call his name Emanuel which is by interpretacion God with vs.
