²⁰ He that is our God is the God of salvation; and to GOD the Lord belong the issues from death.

³⁹ See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: Neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

⁶ The LORD kills, and makes alive: He brings down to the grave, and brings up.

¹³ For You have delivered my soul from death: Will You not deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?

¹⁷ But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: You shall not be ashamed nor confounded for all eternity. ¹⁸ For thus says the LORD who created heaven; God Himself that formed the earth and made it; He has established it, He did not create it in vain, He formed it to be inhabited: "I am the LORD; and there is none other. ¹⁹ I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I did not say to the seed of Jacob, 'You seek me in vain': I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right. ²⁰ Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, you who have escaped of the nations: They have no knowledge who set up the wood of their graven image, and pray to a god that cannot save. ²¹ All of you tell, and bring them near; yes, let them take counsel together: Who has declared this from ancient times? Who has told it from that time? Have I not, the LORD? And there is no God besides Me; a just God and a Savior; there is none besides me. ²² Look to Me, and you will be saved, all the ends of the earth: For I am God, and there is none other.

⁷ But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen."

²² You worship what you do not know: We know what we worship: For salvation is of the Jews.

²¹ For as the Father raises up the dead, and makes them alive; even so the Son makes alive whom He will.

²³ That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that does not honor the Son does not honor the Father which sent Him.

²⁸ Do not marvel at this: For the hour is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice, ²⁹ and shall come forth; those that have done good, to the resurrection of life; and those that have done evil, to the resurrection of damnation.

²⁵ Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection, and the life: He that believes in Me, though he were dead, he shall yet live: ²⁶ And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?"

¹⁴ Since then, as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; ¹⁵ and deliver those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

¹⁸ I am He that lives, and was dead; and behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

¹ And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a large chain in his hand.
