Selah. ⁶ The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him: ⁷ Lo, this is the man that did not make God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.

¹⁰ My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent.

⁸ Remove your way far from her, and do not come near the door of her house:

⁸ There is no man who has power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither does he have power in the day of death: And there is no discharge from that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those who are given to it.
