³³ But when he had turned about and looked at his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get behind me, Satan: for you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things that are of men.

¹⁰ Then Jesus said to him, Begone, Satan: for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.

³¹ Therefore, do not be anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, With what shall we be clothed? ³² After all these things the Gentiles seek: but your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things.

²³ But he did not answer her a word. And his disciples came and begged him, saying, Send her away; for she cries after us.

⁵ And when he had looked around on them with anger, grieved at the hardness of their hearts, he said to the man, Stretch forth your hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored.

³⁴ And he looked around at those who sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brothers!

⁸ Jesus answered him, It is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.

⁵⁵ But he turned, and rebuked them,

⁶¹ And the Lord turned, and looked at Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said to him, Before the cock crows today, you shall deny me thrice.

⁵ For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. ⁶ Now the mind set on the flesh is death; but the mind set on the spirit is life and peace. ⁷ Because the mind set on the flesh is hostile to God: for it is not subject to the law of God, indeed it cannot be. ⁸ So then those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

⁵ Deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord Jesus.

¹⁹ Whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.

²⁰ Those who continue to sin, rebuke before all, that the others may fear.

¹³ This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;

¹⁵ This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, devilish. ¹⁶ For where there is envy and selfish ambition, there is confusion and every evil work. ¹⁷ But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. ¹⁸ And the harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

¹ Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same mind: for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin;

¹⁵ Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

¹⁹ As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: therefore be zealous, and repent.
