¹ Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of our profession;

²¹ Then Jesus said to them again, Peace be with you: as my Father has sent me, even so I send you.

²⁷ Then he said to Thomas, Reach here with your finger, and behold my hands; and reach here with your hand, and thrust it into my side: and do not be faithless, but believing.

⁶ And you also are among those called to belong to Jesus Christ: ⁷ To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁸ And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose. ²⁹ For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. ³⁰ And whom he predestined, those he also called: and whom he called, those he also justified: and whom he justified, those he also glorified.

²⁴ Even us, whom he has called, not only from among the Jews, but also from among the Gentiles?

¹⁷ And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among them, and with them partake in the rich root of the olive tree;

⁸ Now I say that Christ became a minister to the circumcised for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers:

²⁷ It has truly pleased them to do this; and indeed they are indebted to them. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is to minister to them in material things.

² To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all those in every place who call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their Lord and ours:

²³ And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be a partaker in its blessings.

¹⁷ Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

⁷ And our hope for you is steadfast, knowing, that as you are partakers of our sufferings, so you also partake of our comfort.

⁶ That is, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and sharers together of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel:

¹ Therefore I, a prisoner of the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called,

⁴ There is one body, and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope in your calling;

¹⁴ I press on toward the goal for the prize, to which God has called me upward in Christ Jesus.

¹² Giving thanks to the Father, who has made us qualified to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.

²² He has now reconciled in his body of flesh through death, to present you holy and blameless and irreproachable in his sight:

¹² Therefore, as the chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on hearts of mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience;

¹² That you would walk in a manner worthy of God, who has called you into his kingdom and glory.

²⁷ I charge you by the Lord that this letter be read to all the brethren.

¹¹ With this in mind we pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and would with power fulfill every good purpose and work of faith:

¹⁴ To this he called you through our gospel, to obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

² And those who have believing masters must not despise them because they are brethren; but rather service them all the more, because those who partake of their services are believers and beloved. Teach and exhort these things.

¹² Fight the good fight of faith; lay hold on eternal life, to which you are called, to which you made the good confession before many witnesses.

⁹ Who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not by virtue of our works, but because of his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,

⁷ Consider what I say; and the Lord will give you understanding in all things.

¹¹ For both he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all of one family: for which reason he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

¹⁷ Therefore, in all things he had to be made like his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people.

¹⁴ For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold our first confidence steadfast to the end;

¹⁴ Seeing then that we have a great high priest, who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. ¹⁵ For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our infirmities; but one who in every respect was tempted as we are, yet without sin.

¹ For every high priest chosen from among men is ordained to represent men in things pertaining to God, to offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins. ² He can have compassion on the ignorant, and on those who are going astray; for he also is subject to weakness. ³ And for this reason he must offer sacrifices for sins, both for the people, and for himself. ⁴ And no man takes this honour upon himself, but he is called by God, as was Aaron. ⁵ So also Christ did not exalt himself to be made a high priest; but was appointed by him who said to him, You are my Son, today I have begotten you. ⁶ As he also says in another place, You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek. ⁷ In the days of his flesh, he offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his piety. ⁸ Though he was a Son, yet he learned obedience through the things which he suffered; ⁹ And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation for all those who obey him; ¹⁰ Being named by God as a high priest in the order of Melchizedek.

²⁰ Where Jesus, the forerunner, has entered for us, having become a high priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.

²⁶ For it was fitting for us to have such a high priest, holy, blameless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and exalted above the heavens;

¹ Now of that which we have spoken, this is the sum: We have such a high priest, who is seated on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven; ² A minister in the sanctuary, in the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, not man. ³ For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices: therefore it is necessary that this one also have something to offer.

¹¹ But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come, then, through a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation;

²¹ And since we have a high priest over the house of God,

⁹ But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God; that you should declare the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.

⁵ For in this manner the holy women in days of old, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, and were submissive to their husbands.

¹ I exhort the elders who are among you, as a fellow elder, and as a witness of the sufferings of Christ and as a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:

¹⁰ But the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

³ Whose divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who has called us by his own glory and virtue: ⁴ By which he has given to us exceedingly great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. ⁵ For this very reason, give all diligence to add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; ⁶ And to knowledge self-control; and to self-control perseverance; and to perseverance godliness; ⁷ And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness love. ⁸ For if these things are in you, and are increasing, they keep you from being either ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. ⁹ But he who lacks these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and has forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. ¹⁰ Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make your calling and election sure: for if you do these things, you shall never fall:

³ That which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us: and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

¹ Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to those who are called by God the Father, and kept for Jesus Christ:

¹⁴ They shall make war against the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and those who are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

²⁰ Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets; for God has judged her for what she did to you.
