³ But not even Titus, who was with me, though a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised.

²⁴ Since we have heard that some, to whom we gave no such commandment, went out from us and have troubled you with their words, subverting your souls, saying, You must be circumcised, and keep the law:

³ Paul wanted him to go forth with him; and took and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those parts: for they all knew that his father was a Greek.

²⁰ To the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win the Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law; ²¹ To those who are without the law, as without the law, (though I am not without the law of God, but am under the law of Christ,) that I might win those who are without the law.

¹³ Yet I had no rest in my spirit, because I did not find Titus my brother: so I took leave of them, and I went from there into Macedonia.

² Behold, I, Paul say to you, that if you are circumcised, Christ shall be of no value to you. ³ For I testify again to every man who receives circumcision, that he is obliged to obey the whole law. ⁴ You who would be justified by the law, you have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen from grace. ⁵ For we through the Spirit, by faith, wait for the hope of righteousness. ⁶ For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything; but faith which works through love.
