²⁰ Those who are perverse in heart are an abomination to the LORD, but those whose ways are blameless are his delight.

¹⁷ I know also, my God, that you try the heart, and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things. Now have I seen with joy your people, that are present here, offer willingly to you.

⁷ For the LORD is righteous. He loves righteousness. The upright shall see his face.

²⁵ With the faithful you show yourself faithful. With the innocent you show yourself innocent. ²⁶ With the pure you show yourself pure. And with the crooked you show yourself tortuous.

⁶ Look, you desire truth in the inward parts. You teach me wisdom in the inmost place.

¹ ALEPH. Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the LORD.

¹³ Surely the righteous will give thanks to your name. The upright will dwell in your presence.

¹⁴ in whose heart is perverseness, who devises evil continually, who always sows discord.

¹⁶ There are six things which the LORD hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: ¹⁷ haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood; ¹⁸ a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, ¹⁹ a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers.

¹³ The fear of the LORD is to hate evil. I hate pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the perverse mouth.

⁷ He who corrects a mocker invites insult. He who reproves a wicked man invites abuse.

²² Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who do the truth are his delight.

⁶ Righteousness guards the way of integrity, but wickedness overthrows the sinner.

⁸ The sacrifice made by the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

¹⁷ The highway of the upright is to depart from evil. He who keeps his way preserves his soul.

²⁹ A wicked man hardens his face; but as for the upright, he establishes his ways.
