¹¹ and that because of the tyme: when thou dydest set thy selfe agaynst hym, euen when the enemyes caryed awaye his hooste, and when the aleauntes came in at hys portes, and cast lottes vpon Ierusalem, and thou thy selfe wast as one of them.

¹⁰ In hys tyme came the seruauntes of Nabuchodonozor kynge of Babylon, to Ierusalem, and the cytye was beseged. ¹¹ And Nabuchodonozor came to the cytie as his seruauntes were yet a besegynge of it. ¹² And Iehoacin the kynge of Iuda came oute to the kinge of Babilon, with his mother, his seruaunte, hys Lordes, and hys chambrelaynes. And the king of Babilon toke him, in the eyght yeare of his raygne. ¹³ And he caryed oute thence all the treasure of the house of the Lorde, and the treasure of the kynges house, and brake all the vesselles of goulde, whyche Salomon kynge of Israel had made, in the temple of the Lorde, as the Lorde had sayde. ¹⁴ And he caried awaye all Ierusalem, and all the Lordes, and all the men of myghte, to the nombre of ten thousande into captyuyte, and all craftes men and Ioyners, none remaynynge saue the poore people of the lande. ¹⁵ And he caryed awaie Iehoacin to Babilon, and the kynges mother, and the kynges wyues, & hys chambrelaynes, and the mightye of the lande caryed he awaye from Ierusalem to Babilon. ¹⁶ And al the men of actiuite to the nombre of seuen thousande, & craftesmen and ioyners a thousand, all stronge & apte for warre,

¹¹ And the rest of the people that were lefte in the cytie, and them that were fled to the kynge of Babilon, & the remnaunt of the comen people, Nabusaradan the chefe Marshal caryed awaye,

¹⁸ If thou seist a thefe, thou runnest wyth him, and art partaker with the aduouterers.

⁷ Remember the children of Edom, O Lorde in the daye of Ierusalem, howe they sayde: doune wyth it, doune wyth it: euen to the grounde.

²⁸ Thys is the summe of the people, whom Nabuchodonosor ledde awaye captyue. In the seuenth yeare of hys reygne, he caried awaye of the Iewes, thre thousand and thre and twenty. ²⁹ In the .xviij. yeare. Nabuchodonosor caryed awaye from Ierusalem eight hundreth and .xxxij. personnes. ³⁰ In the .xxiij. yeare of Nabuchodonosor Nabuzaradan the chefe Captayne, toke awaye seuen hundreth .xlv. Iewes presoners. The whole summe of all the presoners, is foure thousand and syxe hundreth.

³ yea they haue cast lottes for my people the yonge men haue they set in the bordell house, and solde the Damsels for wine, that they myghte haue to drincke.

¹⁰ yet was she dryuen away, and brought into captiuite: her yonge chyldren were smiten doune at the heade of euerye strete, the lottes were cast for the most auncient men in her, and al her mightye men were bounde in chaynes.
