⁵ And my God gaue me in my herte, that I gathered together the princypall men & the people to nombre them, & I founde a regyster of the nombre of them, which came vp afore out of the captiuite:

¹ And all Israel were numbred by kynredes: & se, they be written in the boke of the kynges of Israel. And Iuda were caried awaye to Babilon for theyr offences. ² And the olde enhabiters that dwelt in theyr owne possessyons & cyties were Israel, the prestes, Leuites & Mathinetites. ³ But in Ierusalem dwelt of the children of Iuda, of the chyldren of Beniamin and of the chyldren of Ephraim & Manasseh. ⁴ Othai the sonne of Amihud the sonne of Amri the sonne of Omrai of the sonne of Boni of the chyldren of Pharez, the sonne of Iuda. ⁵ And of Siloni, Asiah the eldest and hys sonnes. ⁶ And of the sonnes of Zarah, Ieuel wyth theyr brethren .vi. hundred .xc. ⁷ And of the sonnes of Beniamin: Salo the sonne of Mosolam the sonne of Hoduiah, the sonne of Hasnuah, ⁸ and Iobaniah the sonne of Ieroham. And Elah the sonne of Ozi the sonne of Mochori. And Mosolam the sonne of Saphatiah the sonne of Rauel the sonne of Iebania ⁹ with other theyr brethren in theyr kynredes, nyne hundred fiftie & sixe. And all these were honorable heades in the auncient housholdes of them.

⁶² these soughte the register of their byrth, and founde none, therfore were they put from the priesthode.

²⁷ Praysed be the Lord God of our fathers which so had inspired the kinges hert to garnysh the house of God at Ierusalem:

¹⁹ Thyncke vpon me my God vnto the best, accordynge to all that I haue done for thys people.

¹⁴ My God thinke thou vpon Tobiah and Senabalat accordyng vnto these their workes, and of the Prophet Noadiah and of the other Prophetes, that wolde haue put me in feare.

⁶⁴ These soughte the regyster of theyr generacion, & when they founde it not, they were put from the priestehode.

¹⁰ But by the grace of God I am that I am. And his grace which is in me, was not in vaine, but I laboured more aboundantly then they al, not I but the grace of God which is with me.

⁵ not that we are suffyciente of our selues to thynke any thynge as it were of our selues, but our ablenes cometh of God,

¹⁶ Thankes be vnto God, which put in the hert of Titus the same good mynde towarde you.

¹² Wherfore my dearlye beloued, as ye haue alwayes obeyed, not when I was presente onelye, but nowe much more in myne absence euen so worke out your owne saluacion wt feare and trembling. ¹³ For it is God, whyche worketh in you, both the wyll and also the dede, euen of good wyl.

²⁹ Wherin I also labour and stryue euen as farforth as his workinge worketh in me mightely.
