1 In the fyrste yeare of Cyrus king of Persia (that the word of the lord spoken by the mouth of Ieremy mighte be fulfylled) the Lord stered vp the sprete of Cyrus kynge of Persia, that he caused it be proclamed thorowout al his empyre, ye and by wrytinge also, saying: 2 Thus sayth Cyrus the king of Persia: The Lord God of heauen hath geuen me al the kingdomes in the land & hath commaunded me to buylde him an house at Ierusalem in Iuda. 3 Whosoeuer now amonge you is of hys people, the Lord his God be with him, & let him go vp to Ierusalem in Iuda, and buylde the house of the Lorde God of Israell. He is the God that is at Ierusalem. 4 And whosoeuer remayneth yet in any maner of a place (where he is a straunger) let the men of hys place helpe him with syluer & golde, wt good & cattel, beside that which they willingly offer, for the house of God at Ierusalem. 5 Then gat vp the principal fathers of Iuda and Ben Iamin, & the priestes and Leuites, and all they whose sprete God had raysed to go vp, and to buylde the house of the Lord at Ierusalem. 6 And al they that were aboute them, strengthed their hand with vessels of syluer and golde, with good & catel, and Iewels, besyde that whiche they gaue of their owne frewyll. 7 And Kynge Cyrus broughte forth of the vessels of the house of the Lorde, whiche Nabuchodonozor had taken oute of Ierusalem, and put in the house of his God. 8 But Cyrus the kynge of Persia brought them forth by Mithridates the treasurer, & numbred them vnto Selbazar the prynce of Iuda. 9 And this is the numbre of them: thyrtye basens of gold, and a thousand basens of siluer, and nine and twenty knyues, 10 thyrty cuppes of gold, and of other syluer cuppes foure hundred and ten, and of other vessels a thousande. 11 So that all the vessels both of golde and syluer, were fyue thousand & foure hundred. Sesbazar brought them all vp, with them that came vp out of the captiuite of Babilon vnto Ierusalem.

And thys was the offerynge of Ahira, the sonne of Enan. 84 Of thys maner was the dedicacyon of the alter, when it was anoynted: vnto the whyche was broughte of the prynces of Israell .xij. chargers of syluer .xij. syluer boules and .xij. spones of golde: 85 euery charger contaynynge an hundred and .xxx. sycles of syluer, & euery boule .lxx. so that al the syluer of all the vessels, was twoo thousande and .iiij. hundred sycles of the holy sycle. 86 And the .xij. golden spones whych were full of cens, contayned ten sycles a pece of the holy sycle: so that all the golde of the spones, was an hundred and .xx. sycles. 87 All the oxen that were broughte for the burntofferynges were .xij. and the rammes .xij. & the lambes .xij. of a yere old a pece, wyth the meateofferynges: wyth he gootes for synneofferynges. 88 And al the oxen of the peaceofferynges were .xxiiij. the rammes .lx. the gootes .lx. and lambes of a yere olde a pece .lx. & thys was the dedicacyon of the alter, after that it was anoynted. 89 And when Moses was gone in to the tabernacle of wytnesse to speke with hym, he harde the voyce of one speakyng vnto him from of the mercyseate that was vpon the arck of wytnesse: euen from betwene the two cherubyns he spake vnto hym.

Ezra 6:5

5 And the goulde and syluer vessel of the house of God (whiche Nabuchodonozor toke oute of the temple at Ierusalem, & brought vnto Babilon) shalbe restored agayne, that they maye be brought vnto the temple at Ierusalem to their place into the house of God.

22 and helde the feast of vnleuended bread seuen dayes with ioye: for the Lord had made them glad, and turned the herte of the king of Assur vnto them, so that the handes were strengthed in the worcke of the house of God, whiche is the God of Israel.

3 and after two yeare wyll I bryng againe into thys place, all the ornamentes of the Lordes house, that Nabuchodonosor kynge of Babylon caryed awaye from thys place vnto Babylon. 4 Yea, I wyll brynge agayne Iechoniah the sonne of Iehoakim the kynge of Iuda hym selfe, with all the prysonners of Iuda (that are caryed vnto Babylon) euen into this place sayeth the Lorde, for I wyll breake the yoeke of the kynge of Babylon. 5 Then the Prophet Ieremye gaue aunswere vnto the Prophete Hananiah, before the prestes and before all the people that were presente in the house of the Lorde. 6 And the Prophet Ieremye sayd: Amen: the Lord do that, & graunt the thynge, whiche thou hast prophecyed: that he maye brynge agayne all the ornamentes of the Lordes house, and restore all the presonners from Babylon into the place.

Jeremiah 29:10

10 But thus sayeth the Lorde: When ye haue fulfylled .lxx. yeares at Babylon, I wil bring you home, & of myne owne goodnes I wyll carye you hyther agayne vnto this place.

Jeremiah 33:7-13

7 And I will returne the captyuyte of Iuda and Israell, and I will set them vp agayne, as they were afo 8 From all misdedes (wherein they haue offended against me) I will clense them. For I will restore the captiuite of this lande, as it was afore, saieth the Lord. 12 Thus sayeth the Lorde of Hostes: It shall come yet therto, that in this lande, whiche is voyde from men and catel, and in al the cities of the land, there shalbe set vp sheperdes cotages: 13 in the cytyes vpon the mountaynes, and in the cyties that lay vpon the plaine, and in the deserte. In the lande of Ben Iamin, in the feldes of Ierusalem, and in the cities of Iuda, shall the shepe be nombred agayn, vnder the hand of him, that telleth them, sayeth the Lorde.

Daniel 2:47

47 The kynge aunswered Daniel, and sayde: yea of a trueth your God is a GOD aboue all Goddes, a Lorde aboue all kynges and an opener of secretes: seynge thou canste dyscouer thys mysterye.

25 Thou shalte be caste oute from men, & thy dwellyng shalbe with the beastes of the feld: with grasse shalte thou be fed lyke an oxe. Thou must be wet with the dewe of the heauen, yea seuen yeares shall come, and go vpon the, tyll thou know, that the hyest hath power vpon the kingedomes of men, & geueth them to whome he lyst.

Daniel 4:32

32 thou shalte be cast oute of mens companye: thy dwelling shalbe with the beastes of the felde, so that thou shalte eate grasse lyke as an oxe, tyll seuen yeares be come & gone ouer the: euen vntill thou knoweste, that the hyest hath power vpon the kyngdoms of men, and that he may geue them, vnto whom it pleaseth hym.

2 & when he was droncken with wyne, he commaunded to brynge hym the golden and syluer vessels, whiche his father Nabuchodonosor had taken oute of the temple at Ierusalem, that the king and hys lordes with hys quene and concubynes might drincke thereoute. 3 So they broughte the golden vessell, that was taken oute of the temple of the Lordes house at Ierusalem. Then the kynge and hys lordes with his quene & concubynes droncke oute of them.

Daniel 5:19-21

19 so that al people, kynredes and tunge stode in awe & feare of him, by reason of the hye estate, that he had lente him. For why, he slewe whom he wold: he smote, whom it pleased hym. Agayne, whom he wolde, he set vp: and whome he lyst, he put doune. 20 But because hys herte was so proude, and hys stomacke set so fast vnto wilfulnesse: he was deposed from hys kingly trone, & his magesty was taken from hym. 21 He was shote oute from amonge men, his herte was lyke a beastes herte, and hys dwellynge was wyth the wylde asses: he was fayne to eate grasse lyke an oxe, and hys body was wet with the dewe of the heauen: tyll he knewe, that the hyest had power vpon the kingdomes of men, and setteth ouer them, whome he lyst.

Daniel 5:23

23 but hast magnyfyed thy selfe aboue the Lorde of heauen, so that the vessels of hys house were broughte before the, that thou, and thy Lordes, with thy quene and concubynes, myght drincke wyne thereoute: And hast praysed the Idoles of syluer and golde, copper and yron, of wode and stone: As for the God in whose hande consysteth thy breth and all thy wayes: thou haste not loaued hym.

Daniel 6:26

26 My commaundement is, in al my dominion & kingedome, that men feare and stande in awe of Daniels God. For he is the liuinge God, whiche abydeth euer: his kingedome shall not fayle, and hys power is euerlasting.

Zechariah 4:6-10
