¹ And he sayde vnto Moses: come vnto the Lord: both thou & Aaron, Nadab & Abihu, & the .lxx. elders of Israel, and worship afarre of.

⁵ All these soules that came out of the loynes of Iacob were .lxx. and Ioseph was in Egypte all ready.

²³ And Aaron toke Elizaba daughter of Aminadab & sister of Nahason, to wife: which bare him Nadab, Abehu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

⁹ And the Lord sayde vnto Moses: Lo, I will come vnto the in a thycke cloude, that the people maye heare when I talke with the, and also beleue the for euer. And Moses shewed the wordes of the people vnto the Lorde.

²⁰ And the Lorde came doune vpon mounte Sinai, euen in the toppe of the hyll, and called Moyses vp into the toppe of the hyll. And Moyses went vp.

²⁴ And the Lorde sayde vnto hym: awaye, & get the doune: & come vp both thou & Aaron with the. But let not the priestes & the people presume for to come vp vnto the Lorde: lest he smyte them.

²¹ And the people stode a farre of, & Moses went into the thicke cloude where God was

⁹ Then went Moyses & Aaron, Nadad and Abihu and the .lxx. elders of Israell vp,

¹⁵ When Moyses was come vp into the mount a cloude couered the hyll,

¹ And take thou vnto the Aaron thy brother and hys sonnes wyth him, from amonge the children of Israell that he may minister vnto me, both Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar Arons sonnes.

² and be ready against the mornyng that thou mayst come vp early to the mount of Sinai and stande me there vppon the toppe of the mounte.

¹ And Nadab and Abihu the Sonnes of Aaron toke eyther of theym hys censor, and putte fyre therin, and put cense vpon and brought straunge fyre before the Lord: which he commaunded them not, ² and ther went a fyre out from the Lord, and consumed them, & they dyed before the Lorde.

¹⁶ And the Lorde sayde vnto Moses: gether vnto me .lxx. of the elders of Israel, which thou knowest that they are the elders of the people and offycers ouer them, & brynge them vnto the tabernacle of wytnesse, and let them stande there with the.

²⁴ And Moses went out and tolde the people the saying of the Lorde, and gethered the .lxx. elders of the people, and set them round aboute the tabernacle. ²⁵ And the Lorde came doune in a cloude & spake vnto him, and toke of the sprete that was vpon him, and put it vpon the .lxx. elders. And as the spirite rested vpon them, they prophecied & dyd nought els.

³ The children of Amram: Aaron, Moses & Miriam. The sonnes of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

¹¹ There stode also before the ymages .lxx. lordes of the councell of the house of Israel, and in the myddeste of them stode Iaazamah the sonne of Saphan: and euerye one of them had a censoure in hys hande, and out of the incense, there wente a smoke, as it had bene a cloude.

¹ After these thynges, the Lord appoynted other seuentye also: and sent them, two & two before him into euery citie and place, whyther he hym selfe woulde come.

¹⁷ And the seuenty returned againe with ioye saiynge. Lorde euen the very deuyls are subdued to vs throughe thy name.
