²⁵ And as sone as they were departed from hym, though they left hym in great diseases: yet his owne seruauntes conspired agaynst hym for the bloude of the chyldren of Iehoiada the preste, & slue hym on hys beed. And when he was dead, they buryed him in the cytye of Dauid: but not in the sepulchres of the kynges.

²⁰ And his owne seruauntes arose and wroughte treason, and slue Iehoas in the house Melo, in the way doune to Sela. ²¹ Iozabar the sonne of Semaath and Iehozabad the sonne of Somer hys seruauntes, smote hym, that he dyed. And they buryed hym wyth his fathers in the cytye of Dauid. And Amaziah hys sonne raygned in hys steade.

¹⁹ And they conspyred greate treason agaynste him in Ierusalem, & he fled to Lachis. And they wente after hym to Lachis, & slue hym there. ²⁰ And they brought hym on an horse & he was buryed at Ierusalem with his fathers in the cytye of Dauid.

And he walked not pleasauntly, & they buryed him in the cyty of Dauid, but not in the sepulchre of the kinges.

⁶ Wherfore he returned to be healed in Iezrahel of the woundes whiche were geuen him at Ramoth, when he sought wt Hazael king of Siria. And Ohoziah the sonne of Iehoram king of Iuda went doune to se Iehoram the sonne of Ahab at Iezrahel, because he was diseased.

¹⁶ And they buryed him in the citie of Dauid amonge the kynges because he had done good in Israel, & on God and on his house.
