And Iehoiada sayde to them: behold, the kinges sonne must raygne ouer the children of Dauid, as the Lorde hath sayde. 4 This is it therfore that ye shal do. The third parte of you priestes & Leuites whiche come in the Saboth daye, shall kepe the dores 5 & another third parte shalbe in the kinges house & another thyrd parte shalbe in the gate of the foundacyon, and all the people shalbe in the courtes of the house of the Lorde 6 And ther shall none come into the house of the Lorde, saue the priestes & the Leuites that ministre. They shal go in, for they are holy: & al the people shal kepe the watche of the Lord: 7 & the Leuites shal compase the king roud about, & euery man his wepon in his hand: & whatsoeuer other man come into the house of the Lorde, he shal dye for it: and they shalbe wyth the kynge as he cometh in and as he goeth oute. 8 And the Leuites & al Iuda did in al thinges as Iehoiada the priestes commaunded, & toke euery man his men: both them that came in, & them that went out the saboth daye: for Iehoiada the prieste did let none of the companyes departe. 9 And Iehoiada the prieste delyuered to the captaynes of hundredes speares & shildes & boukelars that pertaineth to king Dauid, and were in the house of God. 10 And he set al the people & euery man hys wepon in hys hand, from the ryght corner of the house to the lefte corner of the house, alonge by the aulter, and the house rounde aboute the kynge. 11 And they brought oute the kynges sonne, and put vpon hym the croune, & the testymonye, and made hym kyng. And Iehoiada & hys sonnes annoynted hym & sayde: God saue he Kyng. 12 When Athaliah hearde the noyse of the people runnynge & praysynge the kynge, she went amonge the people into the house of the Lorde. 13 And when she sawe the kynge stande at his pyler in the enterynge, and the Lordes and trompetes about the kynge, and all the people of the lande reioysynge and blowing wyth trompetes, and the syngers with instrumentes of musycke teachinge to prayse. Then she rent her clothes and cryed: treason treason. 14 And Iehoiada the preste went out with the capitaynes of hundredes that were apoynted to gouerne the hoste, and sayde to them: haue her out wythout the arayes and whosoeuer foloweth her, let hym be slayne with the swerde. For the preste sayde: sley her not in the house of the Lorde. 15 And they layde handes on her, and when she was come out to the entrynge of the horsgate in the kynges house, they slue her there. 16 And Iehoiada made a bonde betwene him and all the people and the kynge, to be the Lordes people. 17 And all the people went to the house of Baal and destroyed it, and brake hys aulters and hys ymages, and slue Mathan the preste of Baall before the aulters. 18 And Iehoiada put the offyces of the house of the Lorde in the handes of the prestes the Leuites, which Dauid had deuyded in companyes for the house of the Lorde, to offer burntofferynges vnto the Lorde, as it is wrytten in the law of Moses, wyth reioysynge and syngynge, as it was ordeyned by Dauid. 19 And he set porters vnto the gates of the house of the Lorde, that none that was vncleane in anye poynte shulde entre in. 20 And he toke the capitaynes of hundrethes and the nobles, and the gouernoures of the people & all the folke of the lande, & brought the kyng downe out of the house of the Lord, and they went thorowe the hye gate in the kynges house, and set the kynge vpon the seate of the kyngedome. 21 And all the people of the lande reioysed, and the cytye was in tranquilite: but they slue Athaliah wyth the swerde.

Lambes of a yere olde a pece & without spot, and two tenth deales of floure for a meat offerynge myngeled wyth oyle, & the dryncke offerynge therto. 10 This is the burntoffering of euery Saboth, besides the dayly burnt offeryng, and hys drinkeofferyng. 11 And in the fyrste daye of your moneth, ye shall offer a burnt offerynge vnto the Lorde two yonge bullockes, and a ram, and seuen Lambes of a yere olde wythout spotte, 12 & .iij. tenthdeales of floure for a meateofferynge myngeled wyth oyle vnto one bullocke, & .ij. tenthdeales of floure for a meate offerynge myngled wyth oyle vnto one ram. 13 And euermore a tenthdeale of floure myngled wyth oyle, for a meate offerynge vnto one lambe. That is a burnt offerynge of a swete sauour in the sacrifyce of the Lord. 14 And their drinkofferynges shal be halfe an Hin of wine vnto one bullocke, and the thyrde parte of an Hin of wyne vnto a ram & the fourthe parte of an hin vnto a lambe. This is the burntofferynge of euery moneth thorow out all the monethes of the yeare, 15 and one he gote for a synneoffering vnto the Lorde, which shal be offered with the dayly burntofferyng & hys drynkeofferynge. 16 And the .xiiij. daye of the first moneth shalbe passeouer vnto the Lord 17 And the .xv. day of the same moneth shall be a feast, in whych .vij. dayes men muste eate vnleuended bread. 18 The fyrst daye shalbe an holy feast, so that ye shall do no maner of laboryous worke therin. 19 And ye shall offer a burntoffrynge vnto the Lorde two younge bullockes, one ram, and .vij. lambes of a yere olde wythout spott, 20 and their meatoffring of floure myngled wyth oyle .iij. tenthdeales vnto a bullocke, and two tenthdeales vnto a ram, 21 and euermoare one tenthdeale vnto a lambe, thorow out the .vij. lambes: 22 & an he goote for a synofferynge to make an attonement for you. 23 And ye shall offer these, besyde the burntofferyng in the mornyng that is alway offered. 24 And after thys maner ye shal offer thorow out the .vij. dayes, the fode of the sacryfice of a swete sauoure vnto the Lord. And it shalbe done besyde the dayly burntofferyng & hys drynkofferynge. 25 And the seuenth daye shal be an holy feast vnto you, so that ye shal do no laborious worke therin. 26 And the daye of your fyrst frutes when ye brynge a newe meateofferyng vnto the Lord in your wekes shalbe an holy feast vnto you: 27 so that ye shal do no laborious worke therin. All that was dedicated, was vnder the hande of Selomith & of hys brethren. 29 Of the Izaharites Conaniah and hys sonnes were in businesses wythout forth made offycers and iudges ouer Israel. 30 And of the Hebronites Hasabiah & hys brethren men of actiuite a thousande & .vij. hundred were offycers in Israell on thys syde Iordan westwarde, in all busynesses of the Lorde and seruyce of the kynge. 31 And Iediah was the chefeste amonge the kynredes and fathers of the Hebronites. And in the fourtye yeare of the kyngedom of Dauid they were fought for. And there were founde of them men of actyuyte at Iezer in Galaad. 32 And hys brethren were in men of actiuite, two thousande & seuen hundred auncient heades, whiche Kynge Dauid made rulers ouer the Rubenites, Gaddites & the half tribe of Manasseh in all maters pertaynynge to God and busynesses of the kynge.
