¹⁹ What saye I then? that the Image is any thinge? or that it whiche is offered to Images is anye thinge?

²¹ They haue angred me wt that which is no God, & prouoked me wyth theyr vanities. And I agayne wyll anger them wyth them whiche are no people, and wyl prouoke them wyth a folysh nation.

¹⁷ All people in comparyson of hym are rekened as nothing, yee vayne vanyte and emptynesse.

²⁹ Lo, wicked are they and vayne, with the thynges also that they take in hande: yee wynde are they, and emptynesse, with theyr ymages together.

²⁸ And vile thinges of the world, and thinges whiche are despysed, hath God chosen, yea and thinges of no reputation for to bringe to nought thinges of reputation,

⁷ So then neyther is he that planteth anye thinge neyther he that watreth: but God that gaue the increase.
